In anticipation of the Elder's ban of all Nomad equipment (and because I got mine blown off while docking) I thought I'd start looking early and try to see if I can find something economical. Took a trip today to Edinburgh to look up a gun called "Gaia's Angel." In Dublin I met our NLH ally Red.Sunset. He helped me dispatch the annoying Mollies and proceeded to escort me to Islay base where I questioned him about the gun. Unfortunately the gun is sold in Lewis and whatever Gaian guard faction was in there denied my entrance.
Anyway, Red.Sunset assured me there was some mistake and proceeded to buy the gun for me at no charge! Unfortunately our haven was rudely interrupted when an RoS tagged ship entered the area and began firing at me. I used my new weapons and they worked to surprising effect, damaging his hull on the second pass. Anyway the Outcast scum disabled my ship with a Torpedo and proceeded to decimate Red.Sunset's ship as well. When he finally got his laughs, I got towed to Islay and repaired. I am currently docked on Crete and am spending some time at home before going back to Delta and Yaren base.
My suggestion to the Elders is to start looking at other factions and the possibility of importing some technology for a change. This may strengthen not only our Titans but also our alliances with others that may need our support in such far flung reaches like Edinburgh. I will also post in our private comms my weapons layout. I'm thinking that if we put our minds to it, we could find a weapon layout that is better without Nomad technology, or at least that's my goal.
Lucendez out.

"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."
Brother Juan, that is an excellent idea. With our growing list of allies acquiring a diverse range of weapons is something we can all look into. Of course none are up to par with our own glorious Corsair weps, but it is nice to see different coloured fireballs ruining our enemies.
As for Gaians, I understand their scientists have made recent breakthroughs and produced some very fine weapons. Unfortunately being photon based they travel at higher speed, and you may find some accuracy problems when mixed with our neutron-based guns and most importantly shield busters. YMMV.
Just be careful when sourcing your weaponry... be mindful who manufactured it, and always check serial numbers to make sure it is compatible with your ship systems. You don't want to shell out alot of money for some gun, only to have to chuck it in the scrapper.
Brother Shepardi, you have done well in your actions against the UKMG ships.
Last time I looked IMG are our friends, allies in our respective struggles against the treacherous house of Bretonia. But also last time I looked, the IMG kept to their own mining fields and did not go around poaching other people's property.
I don't know who this UKMG think they are, but rumour has it these thieves and squatters are making enemies all over Sirius. I say we keep a close eye on them indeed... no good can come of people who come into a man's house without his leave and without respect.
**** Re: AW
I have enormous respect for the \UG/. They have proven themselves honourable and upstanding people. Which is why I take Mr.Rakghoul's offer very seriously.
Unfortunately a rift exists between us and the house of AW, those dishonourable dogs. Time and again they come to us with the olive branch, but when we grab at it, it is a stick of thorns. They act out of blatant self-interest and disregard for the downtrodden and freedom loving peoples of Sirius. It would take a long, long time indeed before we could trust AW again.
Having said that I know Rakghoul is a man of his word. If he believes AW may be of some use against a threat greater than us all, and if he feels he can keep a leash on their pilots, I trust him. I vote we allow AW pilots to cross our space *on these conditions*:
- AW must be accompanied by a \UG/ ship
- AW will be on weapons stand-down the whole time
- AW is not to pass within 15k of our stations
- No cargo is to be carried either in or out by AW, except what is necessary for ship operation
- TBH will be allowed access to scan AW ships on demand
- AW will follow any and all instructions by \JG/ and TBH
- TBH reserves the right to order AW out for any reason, no questions asked
Any AW found straying from \UG/ guiding hand, or not complying with the above, will be shot immediately. Naturally we must pledge to honour our side of the arrangement: AW ships complying with the conditions will not be harrassed or endangered; and yes, we will be polite and respectful.
I will pass the information back to AW leadership. As for staying 15k away from Corsair bases, there is an issue with a corsair base in Delta. Please allow us use of these bases as the nomads may be attacking that base and we (Jupiter guild and asgard Warriors) may have to approach to destroy them.
I hope this is just a first step towards peace... I saw your comment aobut the weapons....Trust me, Zoners may end up being very good allies when it comes to hardware.
P.S: The two []JG/] transports landed successfully at crete and dropped 9000 cargo of food. They also gave 2 mil in aid to the TBH in charge at that time. While there, one of the TBH complained me his ship was destroyed by an AW yesterday while he was " chillin' " in theta. Please.....try not to chill in theta till this war is over or atleast there is a cease fire. I am working on it... hope that time is soon.

Re: UKMG
Brothers, as we see the UKMG seem to be trying to offer and Olive branch to us, But I will urge that you look deeper than that. The UKMG are also at the same time as they try to make peace with us, they also try to make peace with our sworn enemy the RM. I find it offencive (As I did with OPG ) that the UKMG are trying to maintain nutrality with all sirus factions. They try and make money from our resources while maintaining freindly relations with our enemies. Aside from that fact, they are problley closer to BMM in thier ideology then IMG, they work on behalf of the Britonian Crown, and fly police tags on thier ships.(\\IMG has missions, why not just make your rep tag IMG....why? because it's EASIER to get the starting police tag, and then you don't have to do any work. I dont like the way they go about RP//) While they fly those Lawful tags, I dont think we ought to have anything to do with them, let alone allowing them to mine in our space. Also they have now twice decided to hack our communication systems, they are not to be trusted. As the Brother to have made first contact with them, I will say, it is my opionon that they are not to be trusted.
I find it upseting that Elder Farquar made a very reasonable offer to JG about letting AW ships move through our space and that thier response was to ask for more. And what more do they want, they want us to allow AW ships to dock on our station. This after AW attempted to procure Talidin Bombers from this station. I know that if I ran into an AW piliot on a corsair station I would unholster my weapon and vaporize him without a second thought, these are people who attack our home system and bomb our planets, they have shown NO honour in thier dealings with us and I find it absolutly intolarable that we would allow them acces to Yarden base. I would not trust them not to sabitoge our base for thier own purposes. Be wary of these overtures brothers be very wary.

Okay Dab..... this is what they are requesting to allow AW to pass through gamma. If this goes without incident, hopefully TBH will start trusting AW a little more.
Quote:- AW must be accompanied by a \JG/ ship
- AW will be on weapons stand-down the whole time
- AW is not to pass within 15k of our stations
- No cargo is to be carried either in or out by AW, except what is necessary for ship operation

I have asked them to allow us to get closer to their Delta base of operations... waiting for an answer. Now please get 2 or 3 cap ships ready. preferably 2 BS.
(I have seen Harbringer bring down a Outcast Bs without its shields being down)
JG will provide 1 Bs(may be a cruiser) and a lot of fighter/Bomber support to keep the Harbringer from engaging in cruise. Once everything is hammered out, lets start the operation this weekend... what do you say ?
From dab to JG:
Quote:Send this to the TBH:
About the terms; We can't operate by always being accompanied by a JG. AW and JG aren't active enough at the exact same times to get a JG ship to go out there everytime an AW has to.
About the instructions; The AW will follow any and all REASONABLE instructions.
About the ordering us out; That will work both ways. If TBH have the right to order us out at any time, we have the right to do so to them in Theta/Omi-74.
Also; TBH is NOT to enter Theta and fire on ANYONE, with exception of any common enemies we may have (SA/LSF for example. Only those that are also hostile to AW). TBH is to also stay 15k away from any bases in Theta/Omi-74. Exception is only for when going to/from the Omega-41 JH which is within 15k of Corfu.
Also likewise; AW has the right to scan any TBH ships in Theta.
From JG to Dab:
Hello Dab, the Passage through Gamma for AW with JG escorts is a 2 time deal... going there and coming back. JG will make sure that this passage happens without incident. Other than these two instances... AW are still at war with TBH. I think we need to prove a little trust. Once and if a peace treaty is signed, JG will not escort AW ships through the gamma void. Let s get control of the Freeport 11 first. Start some more talks with TBH without finger pointing (I expect them to do the same) and then take further steps.
I am sending this to TBH and hope they understand that only time will heal this aggression. BTW dab, your reply is very reasonable. except I am not sure what constitutes REASONABLE instructions. I suggest the two parties let Jupiter Guild Mediate on that part as well while we are on this mission.

It was indeed a very reasonable offer from TBH. It was I ([\JG/]) who asked for that addendum. Why? because, we have a reason to believe that the Nomad threat is not all that alien to begin with. If our transmissions are being intercepted, god help us, cause all that Nomad scum has to do is get within 10 of the corsair base and by treaty we will just sit there and admire it. You dont want us to dock ? fine, but we still need to get close enough to attack the Nomad scum if he plants his BS by the corsair base and uses it for target practice.
---<transmission ended>---
Our brother is allowed to state his opinion on any matter he wishes in any way he wishes.
About those counter conditions. AW does not control Theta and has no control of the docking rights of those bases. The Zoners do. Therefore, we cannot honour in good faith those counter proposals. Those conditions are hardly reasonable like ours. If they want peace with us, then they will have to pay for it. Besides, its not "good business" for the largest Corsair organization ever to grace this side of Sirius unable to buy Zoner goods from their closest stations, don't you agree?
Also, those conditions mentioned by Elder Farquar are not finalised as far as I am aware, I will sort that out at a later date with the rest of the Elders.
This nomad can plant his battleship next to Yaren. It has some of the thickest armour of all the stations in the boarder worlds, for less than obvious reasons which I wont discuss. Couple this with the fact that the still sizable fleet of the Brotherhood and its allied forces will vaporise his ship in a matter of minutes, and you see any smart organism wouldn't go near Yaren, if they valued their life. I think you should be worrying more about the smoldering Freeport 11.
All I am trying to do is make sure that this mission does not prolong any longer than it needs to be. We wanna finish the job, route some transports with repair parts and get back to theta. I was not in any way dismissing the opinion of Sephardi. We are just trying to Kill a Nomad scum and we atleast need to make sure that these pilots dont have to constantly monitor their distance guages when pursuing the nomad.
You and I both know that this nomad is killing without prejudice. After FP11 being crippled, the Corsair base is probably the only large target left in Delta. If the corsair base can kill the Nomad, so be it. We will not get closer, which we both know is not oging to happen.. Again we are not even asking for the ability to dock. We just need to make sure we can pursue the nomad freely.
Here is a proposal, AW will not get closer to 15k of the Corsair Base if the nomad is not hovering around it.
Does that work for you Senor?
