Heavy Gunboats typically have heavy firepower and large powercores. What is unbalanced about that? That's a fundamental balance of the game. The more armour/firepower you have, the slower you turn.
And even Light Gunboats like the Lane Hacker and Gaian Gunships are capable of destroying transports with ease. So it doesn't matter how much it's reduced by, your "issue" will remain.
If we were to reduce the firepower/powercore then the ship would have to be buffed in turn rate.
And a faster turning gunboat is a deadlier gunboat...
Ok Ashes, explain to me the logic behind bombers. HUGE punch with the SNAC yet these things should not have that much of a power cell. If anything the SNAC should be ammo that's gotta be purchased like missiles or cruise disruptors.
The problem with the Ahoudori is not the ship itself as much as it is the way the ship is used.

Your previous comment is like describing the problem with an apple by pointing to a different problem on an orange.
In other words, one has no connection to the other.
Zelot, my point goes directly to Ashes comment about the size of the ship related to the size of its power cell.
Its quite apples to apples when you talk about the size of the ship compared to the size of its power cell.
Ahoudori = big ship + big power cell
Bomber = small ship + big power cell (doesn't fit Ashes argument when relating the size of the ship to its power cell)

FA bomber, light bomber small bomber powercore
Waran Bomber, heavy bomber, big bomber powercore.
It is consistent when you discuss classes, trying to compare between classes, is, as I said, like comparing apples and oranges.

Agile bomber's power core: 38,200
Agile gunboat's power core: 400,000
You're grasping at straws. Yet you haven't yet presented a feesible argument as to why the KEB should be nerfed.
:/ Ku Ex is to Ku Gb as Fafnirs are to BHG Bombers.
Anywho, Ku Ex is nowhere near broken - especially since zoner turrets are now whitecell to all of the factions you're talking about though even before, they weren't so broken.
Against other gunboats, the only thing that really matters is how many turrets can be sustained and for how long (razors are a horrible choice for combating gunboats)
Against traders, well... Even a lone VHF means certain death for a lone transport.
the KE is just as deadly to a transport as any other gb. Transports are wet paper bags. Instead of calling for nerfing the KU ex, lets buff them (transports) to be similar to the shire so that single pirates cant easily get them.
I for one am sick and tired of transports being treated like cashcows.
