Like I said, there is not "overpowered" there is skill or lack there of. Your interpretation of the video is your opinion, one that I would argue but this is not the place. Only meeting ingame can decide that mate;)

I started to watch this video, skipped to the middle, watched scorp turn around in front of your ku ex shooting at him... without even moving, mind you... and stopped watching. Scorp is overpowered, and 6 nom guns (is it even legal? i mean, they're supposed to have 50% of nom guns) make it a death machine, it's just that the pilot in your video doesn't know how to fly it. But i frankly don't see why did you turn this thread into scorp discussion.
But if you want to, alright. KuEx is overpowered because you beat the brainded scorpion in it. Nerf it nerf it nerf it. Jokes aside. Thing is, just because any ship can be killed by any other ship, all ships are not balanced. What makes ships strong/weak in comparsion are stats, i.e. armor, turning, shape, hitbox, core, etc. And in that department KuEx is good enough for majority of non-affilated people to fly, instead of rping their way into some faction gunship except for the "special" feel.

There still is overpowered, it's just that the term is an exaggeration with the current balance of ships. Ships like the Scorpion and Tridente could be considered overpowered, because they feature aspects such as uncharacteristically high powercore/number of guns for their size and turning capabilities. All the benefits of a heavy gunboat, and none of the downsides. Statistically, they can be considered overpowered.

I would love to. I've been inactive quite a bit and my aim is quite out of practice. I need to shoot some more people with my Gunboat and get that back, shooting hapless LN Gunboats doesn't really fit the bill.

I understand what your saying, that some ships have too much of a power-core but are still agile. But the KuEx is not one of em. It may have a big powercore but it's a big ol brick that can be sniped/out-maneuverer and beaten easily by most every other ship.

Then why is there a problem if you understand what I'm saying? Because I've never called the KEB overpowered. That's just a failure to interpret on your part.

I didn't read thru the whole topic so this was maybe mentioned befor but i think if you want to get rid of pirates in a tradership then hire escorts, others said this is a really slow GB so one bomber can take it out without any big problem. Correct me if i'm wrong.
In comparison with other gunboats out there, KusEx is perfectly balanced. I mean, whoever did the balancing in general, did almost the perfect job (except for hacker gs should be 5-7% smaller, considering that it has low amount of hull, weak power-core, disregard good agility and satisfactory turret placements which simply cannot give you back what you already lost by having a weak hull. yeah, nothing similar to BHGS).
KusEx too powerful? Gimme a break. Give any experienced pilot any gunboat (except Bretonian) and he'll dance around KusEx like it's heavy destroyer, while whole time shooting at it. Too heavy for strafing, too large (easy to snac, very fragile against caps), takes you more than 10 seconds to turn it 180 degrees (that means you can't turn around and hunt/finish off targets which you damage) and all these characteristics are compensated with one single trait: very powerful frontal and rear firepower.
However, on my personal scale, I'd give it 7/10. With good aim and piloting skills, one can shoo away squadron of bombers in KusEx. Excellent support-ship.
In short, those who say "nerf it", with all due respect, know little bit or nothing about gunboats/gunships.

You're wrong. The KuEx will slaughter the tradeship before the bomber can destroy it. Escorts are useless, use scouts instead.
