Pretty much, it was an amendment to the constitution to grant the Armed Forces greater power. That happened well before the above quoted policy was put into effect.
Special executive powers can be given in pretty much every country, I'm quite sure that's why the Arab Spring is happening; the overzealous use of such powers.
What about deferring any relevant court cases until after the conclusion of the war? Denying the right to sue is like denying the right to withdrawal of labour, or the right to privacy. Both are human rights, or close to it, after all...

I'm pretty sure the "right to sue" is not a human right...
As for deferring to after the war, that's probably what would happen. Any cases that people want to file can be filed after the war's conclusion. We wouldn't have thought to word it to make this clear, since this is a video game and not real life, and by the time the war is actually over on this server, no one will remember this, or likely care.
Don't get me wrong, I'm just as disappointed we can't have a court case. I was looking forward to ripping Agmen's case apart. I already know my actions and decisions were fully in-line with Bretonia's laws, as I had to go through and find the relevant areas already when dealing with the Zoner's concerns.

If you put spaces after your commas, I'll think about it.
(But no, really, I'm thinking of doing it anyway. Alvin will be gone for a week ya'know...:secret:If we were to do it, the biggest issue would be, who would be the judge?)

I'm not understanding whatever point it is you're trying to make.
In fact, I can barely follow your post at all. But yeah. I'd like to say that after reading Dakun's comments, I feel like Zelot is somewhat right here, and I have a new respect for him, where I did not know him previously. Regardless, what he's done IN-RP is unacceptable to the zoners of FP1, IN-RP, and we're going to deal with it IN-RP.
tl;dr cut this ooc and rp it out, nothing ooc should have the slightest bearing on rp. your oorp hatred is not wanted, warranted nor does it have any purpose other than to fuel your own egos. kick his ass by roleplaying better than him, not q_q on forumlancer. deal with it, kthxbye.

Your name is Zelolt, deal with it (cake)
After not reading the 11 pages of comments, I'll just say my 2 cent on the original post.
If I wouldn't be so laggy, I would go and make those who have their senseless rampage at freeport 1 suffer.
That witch hunt is wrong, bad and very much ooRP, people look to catch him on the small things, com'on give me a break and stop being so biased that's simply disgusting behavior. *Wishpers* Anyone remember rule 0.0?
