I gave it to the Keeper leadership, I dunno what they do with it, if anything. I noticed that the change in SRP ownership was noticed in the SRP archive thread.
Also, the LPI-Leavenworth is another SRP ships, a LPI battleship. Still floating, AFAIK.
You have a lot of experience with SRP, right? Do tell, how many epic or memorable moments have you had with the Tundra? How much awesome RP? Is it something we want the community to miss out on?
P.S. Thanks everyone for not trolling and flaming, don't wanna get this topic locked cause of it.

Havana
Karl Marx
Leavenworth

So if for an experiment, on a trial basis, anyone could fly what they wanted for, say, a month, how would folks feel? Would it make much or any difference?
(edit: I recall changing the Tundra's ownership as well, but tbh I always thought it was a keepers ship)
Most of my memories on the Tundra include sitting 50k above plane RPing while Omicron Delta boiled over like a kicked anthill, or having fleets (plural) chasing me trying to kill me. There were some good encounters, such as the RP I did with Ophidian and a few other people who wanted to RP, but the thing was that most of them just wanted to become infected and piggy-back off the Tundra into Nom-dom. And I will say, the only reason that SRP got approved (at least from what I've heard) is that Yuri supported it. As I recall, the admins were loathe to approve it because it would set a standard that you could SRP into Nom-dom, something they didn't want to deal with even then. And that was at the beginning of the SRP process.
EDIT: Ninja'd be Ath, technically not, however I always played by their rules and was an unofficial member for it, so it wasn't a big difference. Thing even had a Keeper ID, not a Special Ops ID (it was before they existed).

[font=Agency FB]I'm not sure what you mean by that? If you mean just letting everyone ignore tech chart, it would make very much difference, yes, and too much even. The month would be a ripe chaos, with the mentioned kraken titans rampaging all over the place... I say if you'd make a trial period of a month using the player council method, you got nothing to lose, at all. I understand it's a bit iffy to put down something like that in the hands of players, but it's a necessary evil in order for Admins to not get another buttload of work on their hands.
EDIT: Also, a much healthier alternative than never having SRP again. :S

[font=Agency FB]Much as it would, the problem will remain, that if someone's cool with a faction leader on Skype, they'll get impossible combos a lot, only to "pwn" in PvP. There's still a need for some type of control over the permissions, I realized recently. Bias would grow from a slight nuisance to a gargantuan beast of a problem.
