The comm panels jumps to life as a new message is recieved. Once again the man in battle armor appears in a prerecorded message on the holo.
Zoners,
While my dedication to this project is unwavering, at this time I will respect your wishes to deny me access to one of your Nephilim class dreadnaughts.
However, terms of my putting on hold, indefinitely, this project, require you to also deny ship rights of all Nephilim class dreadnaughts to one "Captain Hydra".
Please do not take my words lightly Zoners. For if you do, the entire galaxy will see what hypocrites you truly are.
I will keep close tabs on Captain Hydra, as well as his ship. If he decides to keep his ship, or you decide to not revoke his right to claim such a ship, I will be forced to take drastic action, and contact a close personal friend of mine, who happens to have a lawfully sanctioned Nephilim, and acquire it.
Should you doubt my "claim" to being able to procure one of your Nephilims, Lets just say that Chester Copperton of ZoE owes me a favor.
The comm bursts to life as another prerecorded message is recieved from the man in battle armor.
"Gentleman,
I am contacting you today not regarding Captain Hydra's actions, nor, officialy, to challenge the current decision to deny me use of one Nephilim class dreadnaught.
No, today I simply seek information.
After reviewing, for a second time, the combined diplomatic communiques I recieved regarding my proposed project, I have, upon re-review, found several discrepancies I wish to better understand and resolve.
These discrepancies are as follows:
1. The inference of myself upon Mr. Dvir's reply was that he spoke on behalf of The Phoenix. I have since been informed that Mr. Dvir is in fact, not an officially recognized member of this organization. My question is, who exactly is Mr. Dvir and who does he officially represent?
2. Christian Burton, I must admit that when I initially read your reply communique, I was rushed and therefore did not fully give it the attention it deserved. Upon reviewing it again however, two of your comments stand out, and I would ask for clarification, as I am confused.
First off, you mention neutrality, and infer that if we, The Order, request access to a Nephilim, why not offer similar requests to the BHG. This threw me, as I was unaware that the BHG would even come into play, as per your alliance status / factional attitude, noted officially here: Affiliation / Alliance Documentation
In response to that quip, I personally would be fine with you granting the BHG access to your Nephilims, for several reasons.
The first reason would be, that if by doing so The Order could freely access these ships as well, then I am all for it.
The second reason is, that from seeing firsthand, how miserably BHG engineers have tried to incorporate foreign technology into their designs, in particular Nomad weaponry, I fully expect that if they did acquire a Nephilim, we order would see BHG Battleships exploding from inadvertent reactor overload, while trying to incorporate a Nephilim reactor in its mainline ships, as well as them spending billions more, on purchasing more Nephilims, when their frankenstein engineering causes catastrophic damage to procured ones.
The second quip that I overlooked the first time through was your reason for denial in its entirety. I am to understand that these ships are in short supply and very expensive to build. While I would counter that I am wealthy enough to pay for the development / customization / assembly of one of these ships, I understand that your response would still be denial.
The real question, regarding the above is, if these ships are in such short supply, then why have so many incompetent captains been able to use them? While I have made my position regarding Captain Hydra very clear, I feel I should mention the TCG|Waratah.
While I am quite aware that Captain Barnes has been formally exiled, I'm still curious as to how he, the uncontrollable, red is dead, Waratah was able to procure, and operate such a ship, for so long, with not even a complaint?
I just find it curious that I, a founding member of The Iron Legion, who I might add, has proved his worth and loyalties to The Order, Zoners, and Allies in the past, is denied access to your ship, yet I see so many Zoners who, apparently are mere commoners, with them.
It makes me wonder if I had asked for procurement of an Aquilon or a Corvo if I would have been met with the same prejudice.
Finally, the Omicron 74 incident has been mentioned in several of the communiques you Zoners have sent me. While I will admit, at first I was ill informed / ignorant to the happenings there, I have since, been educated, by several people regarding the proceedings there.
With that said, I'm curious. It is my understanding that the events of Omicron 74, involved a sanctioned action, undertaken by the revered Overwatch Michal Golanski. Sanctioned meaning, that you official, decision making Zoners approved / gave your blessing. Yet, in this formal request, I find the same "powerful" zoners renouncing said actions, and using this as justification for a seemingly prejudicial denial.
On top of that, Seeing as certain organizations within the Zoners have taken hostile actions against zoners, and that The Order, under command of Overwatch Michal Golanski has put themselves in the line of fire to protect certain Phoenix assets lately, I would have hoped that my request would have been met with a more favorable and discerning eye.
In closing, as I mentioned I am a founding member of the Iron Legion who has more then shown his resolve, and tenacity revolving around proper diplomatic standards, when dealing with Zoners, Order, and these indies in the past. Furthermore, I was an officer, under the command of Tovig Kelt at one point as well, and more then proved myself as the Captain of both a Geb, (original design, and refit) as well as an Osiris.
The point I am trying to convey is, I could understand where you are coming from, if I was an inexperienced Officer, and Pilot, with no history. However seeing as how I have an extensive History, commendable military record with the order, and offered Overwatch Michal Golanski as a reliable reference to my past actions, and future intents, I guess I was hoping for a little more then the normal run around and paranoia from you zoners.
The man sighs, pauses a moment, then continues.
I am confident that the meaning behind my words in this message will fall upon deaf ears, but I can be at peace now, knowing that I have stated my mind, with nothing but honesty.
Regards Gentleman,
Colonel Tereus Mitchell Out!
It is clear from the tone of the message, as well as the contents that Col. Mitchell is fully expecting no further communication from the zoners, regarding his request. Nevertheless the encrypted diplomatic frequency has remained intact, should any further discussion regarding the matter ensue.
This communication is only visible to Zoners, Tereus Mitchell and those approved to see this communique.
Greetings,
This transmission has been bouncing all around Freeport 11 and I sought not to interfere at first, but I figure I should interject as I know both the Phoenix and David Dvir.
David Dvir is a representative of the Zoner Alliance, who holds no authority to grant ship requests. Much like Chester Copperton of ZoE, who holds no such authority over these matters.
The "alliance" that you speak of with The Order is a secret one, which is highly rumoured to exist but not proven. Captain Barnes is no longer an issue, and the only Nephilim in existence by use of The Order should be under the command of Michal Golanski, and that was granted in a time of great war.
The reason you see Zoner "commoners" with them, is because their primary purpose is a defensive colony ship for us, the Zoners, and the Zoners are much less likely to shoot offensively with it, as they do not have the same politics as The Order.
I will leave the rest of the veiled insults against the Zoners to more capable hands and ears, like those of Christian Burton.
"Mr Mitchell,
No matter how allegedly clear it is you don’t expect any more replies which run against your no doubt unassailable argument, the Zoner community is not going to dispense capital-class vessels to anyone willy-nilly without any sort of recompense. What you have effectively done is ask for a gift with nothing in return which is, in all five houses, considered somewhat rude. Shall we verify what time of year this is?
*checks calendar*
"Hrrm."
"...Apparently, Christmas was six months ago. Well that’s somewhat unfortunate isn't it? Evidently Pheonix isn't going to gift-wrap you their most desirous piece of military hardware. What a bad year".
*yawns*
But I've got a very direct question for you Mr Michell. Even without Pheonix's approval, are you simply going to be the supposedly "bigger man" and purloin one anyway? Or does the Phoenix have unlimited Osiris requisitions now?
"I've already provided technical details for why the Order doesn't need, require, desire and shouldn't request a Nephillim. Please labour over them if you have the time".
"Now if you don't mind, I've got some toenails to clip before getting back to business actually related to my current interests".

THE SYNDIC LEAGUES
(A co-operative of Rheinland's Shipping Unions, retired from a life of piracy.)
The comm channel opens, and Col.Mitchell's prerecorded message begins to play.
Ah Mr. Nadeau,
Always trying to sound witty. I'm curious sir, who exactly do you represent?
If you would have opened your eyes sir, the last communication was blatantly addressed to Mr. Burton, who has since clarified the hazy areas mentioned.
As you apparently didn't read my previous communiques, let me highlight one of them for you.
Mitchell pulls up a previous communique, and places it on the screen. The message reads as follows:
Quote:Zoners,
While my dedication to this project is unwavering, at this time I will respect your wishes to deny me access to one of your Nephilim class dreadnaughts.
However, terms of my putting on hold, indefinitely, this project, require you to also deny ship rights of all Nephilim class dreadnaughts to one "Captain Hydra".
My complaints against Captain Hydra can be found here: Formal Complaint against Captain Hydra
Sincerely,
Colonel Tereus Mitchell
You may want to read that little bit of comm log there Mr. Nadeau, as it provides some stunning enlightenment as to my intentions.
First lets make something very clear. As I'm not quite sure who the hell you are, or who the hell you represent, your satirical commentary is a welcome relief to these proceedings. Mainly because its evidently clear that your such an ego-inflated, pompous, prick, that you can't possibly be in any true position of power within the Zoner infrastructure.
The fact that you accuse me of disrespect in regards to asking for a gift, and unwilling to give anything in return, is a fairly bold inference on your part sir, for the following reasons:
1. If I truly wanted to spit in your face, I would never have opened diplomatic proceedings, and would have been perfectly content to not only just acquire one of your ships, and do with it as I please.
2. Within these proceedings, I saw no behest of any officially recognized zoner authority, asking for anything in return. Seeing as most of this formal banter throughout this proceeding, was the stereotypical, paranoid, song and dance of the contradictory zoners, I doubt any of you had a chance to even call a proctologist, to find your head.
3. Since a majority of the diplomatic responses here, are more the "Opinion" of some zoner nuances, as a true "middle finger" to the Zoner diplomat idiosyncrasy, I've made my stance and terms very clear.
Let me be blunt Mr. Nadeau. I really don't care who you think you are, or how important you believe yourself to be. Phoenix denied my request. Outstanding!
Its been made very clear through the proceedings that:
A. The zoners, as a whole, only ally themselves as its convenient to them.
B. Your all a bunch of hypocrites, who bend the the words of others to suit your course of action.
C. You hide behind your technology and neutrality, and attempt to elevate yourselves above the rest of Sirius.
As a direct protest to your pompous, brazen, and down right egotistical demeanor, as well as the fact that Captain Hydra is still miraculously in command of a Nephilim class dreadnaught, I've decided to give you the finger sir.
Its been mentioned here that Phoenix is the official governing body in most of these matters, with them I don't have any issues. But since the majority of you others here, have no real power, and play by "your" variation of Zoner culture, I'm gonna play by your rules.
Since, officially, I am not an "Order| Agent" and self-sufficiently operate, and maintain my forces my actions can't be interpreted as the will of The Order.
Since it was made blatantly clear that ZoE has no true say in Zoner activities, then they won't feel guilty as they transfer their Nephilim Dreadnaught to me. In fact they may feel a bit delighted to stick a needle into your opressive thumb, yes?
So in conclusion, I'm officially informing you that I'm tired of you sycophant zoner politics, and I'm officially flipping you the bird!
Come "repo" me if you wish. You have all proven that Zoners are Hypocrites, and too be honest, I am looking forward to harvesting those Zoner tears.
*Crimson is on FP15 bar, and notices one secure message but one of the part, the one from Tobias, is open to Zoners. Since he can't read the rest, he has some difficulty to understand it*

Ashley walks tiredly over to her controls, almost falling into the chair in the process. "Having pulled our forces out of the fight, I still to be taking many messages from my Runners speaking... well poorly of the Zoner Alliance... many which you already may know are not good... I have on rather angered captain enraged, speaking of a Zoner Alliance Warship that fired on her vessel during our retreat from Omicron 74.... I don't speak poorly of the Zoner Alliance, or for that matter, I don't speak poorly of many, however the Zoner Alliance has crossed my desk more then enough times to show your aggressive to us still... We, the Solar Runners are not enemies but we are not friends either, unless you provide me with some... proof that this... aggression to the Runners is over, I won't have any choose but to still deem you unfriendly to us and a possible danger to our crews and families stationed in Okinawa, however you have my trust in making things better, just show us you can be trusted, and we find a way to make an alliance."

Hello there Captain,
It has been some time since I've heard from you.
I think he's agitated about not getting his way, and so on. Nothing major and nothing to hold against The Order as a whole. Most agents with The Order that stopover on our Freeport are much politer. Well, they don't really say much at the very least. A bit more secretive.
And that works for me, because to be honest I don't want to know things and then risk ruining their operations or something equally important.
I'll look forward to your visit. Drinks are on me this time.
