Current Star System: Honshu Crew Compliment: Twenty Eight Ship Status: 100% Supplies: 84% Fuel Status: 99.5% Day: 6
We've just jumped through the Sigma 19 to Honshu jump gate, taking one last look at the beauty of the system before we did. All systems are normal but the crew have been working for 14 hours straight so I think it's time to moor with the GMG base Aomori Station and get some sleep. Hopefully the KNF patrols nearby will keep us safe.
Tomorrow we set a heading towards the New Tokyo system. Hopefully the tradelane system within Honshu should make that all the faster.

I awoke this morning to find everything as I left it, no changes whatsoever. All is good aboard the Wandering Star, the crew are rested and well, the ship is functioning at 100% and our supplies are only just being touched. As soon as we were all ready and able I ordered the navigation officer to enter the nearby tradelane to Atika Border Station. The journey was uneventful.
We then proceeded to the Osaka Storage Facility, a Samura-run depot created to store the supplies of H-Fuel mined by GMG in the Crow Nebula. The crew aboard the station were very friendly but nothing was to be gained from trading with them other than refilling our 1% fuel loss. There appears to be regular Blood Dragon raids on the Osaka Storage Facility. Unfortunately we could not aid either of them as I wished for us to remain neutral.
Our next destination was the Honshu to New Tokyo jump gate. The gate used generic access codes and was run by the Kusari Naval Forces, clearly an attempt to stop pirates from utilizing it. It was very lightly guarded but the gate itself packed some hefty firepower and security lockouts.

New Tokyo is a beautiful system. Full of vibrant colors and shimmering lights. I love Kusari space. We jumped through the gate without problems. All systems are reported working and all crew are fine and happy. We're going to move to Planet New Tokyo before mooring for the night.
We then moved towards Shinagawa Station, run by Kishiro. The nearby planet, Planet Fuji, is spectacular. A vast blue planet with a smaller white moon, Izu, orbiting it. Truly a sight to behold.
Planet New Tokyo was our next destination. The first thing to catch my eye was Roppongi Station, an Interspace Commerce base, orbiting the planet. Next was the magnificent planet itself, full of colors and lights. Truly Kusari was an amazing area.
Well, we're moored here until tomorrow. Fuel stores and supplies have been replenished by the planet's merchants. I've also had a small run-in with the local law enforcement due to the fact my ship is hauling Synthetic Marijuana but after sliding them a little bit of cash and explaining the situation, all is well.
Current Star System: New Tokyo Crew Compliment: Twenty Eight Persons Aboard: Forty Four Ship Status: 100% Supplies: 100% Fuel Status: 100% Day: 8
During the night we have somehow acquired 15 passengers aboard the Wandering Star. They all payed the very nice price of 1,200 credits each and wish to be shown the stars. They're fully aware of the risks involved but requested voyage regardless. We also picked up a Cryer official on the planet. It appears he was briefed of our mission and wishes to be taken to Cambridge along with the samples. He payed a sum of 8,999 credits to come aboard considering we will have to up our security to accommodate him.
Our next destination is the Ames Research Station in the Kepler system. First we must venture through the Shikoku system, just below the New Tokyo system. The ship will be using the tradelane network the entire way so that we get there rather hastily. After all, we now have a Cryer official aboard and cannot afford to dawdle any longer.
Current Star System: Shikoku Crew Compliment: Twenty Eight Persons Aboard: Forty Four Ship Status: 100% Supplies: 98% Fuel Status: 99.5% Day: 8
Today has been totally uneventful really. We flew, via tradelanes, towards the Shikoku jump gate and passed through with ease. Shikoku, like the rest of Kusari, has proven to be a most spectacular system.
We moved from the jump gate to planet Junyo, the only moon of the gas giant Planet Seto. Junyo is the only inhabited planet in the entire system. Due to terraforming efforts by Samura Industries there is a liveable atmosphere and it has been populated mainly by fishermen.
We didn't moor here as there was no need to, our supplies are virtually full and we did not need to get anything else. Our Cryer friend was also complaining about the time taken to travel to Cambridge. Apparantly he was expecting us to traverse star systems in mere minutes, the fool. We still have another four hours of travel time left before we moor at Ames, best get moving.
Current Star System: Shikoku Crew Compliment: Thirty Three Persons Aboard: Forty Nine Ship Status: 100% Supplies: 96% Fuel Status: 99% Day: 8
The Wandering Star seems to be gaining crew by the day. We have recently taken aboard five security personnel for general ship security. I am also appointing Lieutenant Michaels as my chief of security. We can now add to the roster:
We picked them up on Deshima Station, a Bounty Hunters Guild base, following an incident on that very same base involving a stray blaster shot and Ensign Ikari. Hopefully now the crew should be safe from any potential dangers whilst aboard other stations.
Current Star System: Kepler Crew Compliment: Thirty Two Persons Aboard: Forty Eight Ship Status: 68% Supplies: 94% Fuel Status: 98% Day: 8
The trip to Kepler was rather uneventful, took a single tradelane and entered the jump sequence, regular jump codes. The Kepler system itself is rather dull. Without a star or any form of gravitational pull, just a couple of asteroid fields, two trade lanes, two jump gates, Ames and a couple of pirate bases.
During the trade lane between the jump gate and Ames, we were ambushed by a raiding group of five Xenos and four Lane Hackers. The Xenos didn't want us to enter Liberty and the Lane Hackers demanded our Synthetic Marijuana. It was quite lucky really that they hated each other as much as they did us. Naturally, a fight ensued.
The Lane Hackers began pummeling the Wandering Star's shields with blasts of tachyon energy while the Xenos were ducking and diving around the main hull, releasing a burst of particles every now and then. Luckily for the hackers and unfortunately for us, they managed to cripple our shield generator and leave us open to their shots.
As soon as this happened the Xenos pounced, releasing wave upon wave of particle bursts upon the exposed hull. Of course I immediately ordered all turrets to be manned but it was, unfortunately, too late. The Lane Hackers had got a dagger attached to the hull and had boarded us with 2 of their specialists. I'm just thankful I took those security officers on board.
Well as it turned out, the Lane Hackers were using sub-standard blaster pistols while I had bought my security officers state-of-the-art blaster rifles and personal shield generators. This meant that the on board fight lasted a grand total of two minutes as the Lane Hackers dodged blaster shots and poured their energy into our shield generators. In the end one of them was struck by a shot to the shoulder then another to the chest, the other was struck in the neck by a blaster shot and instantly killed.
They managed to get a shot off at Ensign Hamilton before they did fall, killing him instantly.. A thorough shame. The one that is still alive is being treated in sick bay and should make a full recovery, at which point he'll be held in the brig until we arrive at Planet Manhattan and can hand him over to the LPI. The bodies of the Hacker and Ensign Hamilton have been dropped off at Ames for proper burial. The family of Hamilton will be contacted. It is a sad day aboard the Wandering Star.
Needless to say the fighters assaulting us were soon destroyed by the Wandering Star's turrets. A fine show of accuracy and gunning skills. We are now moored at Ames undergoing repairs. I've given the crew a weeks shore leave on the station until we can restore the ship to atleast 85% functionality. Right now we can reach only half impulse speed, have lost 4 turrets, have no shield generator and have 2 entire decks sealed off with bulkheads.
Current Star System: Colorado Crew Compliment: Thirty Two Persons Aboard: Forty Eight Ship Status: 87% Supplies: 90% Fuel Status: 97% Day: 15
Well, the ship is back in working condition so I decided to head towards Liberty for further repairs. We moved towards the Kepler -> Colorado Jump Gate without trouble. Jumping was, again, quite easy and without any action to report of.
Upon jumping we found Colorado to be a spectacular system, the brilliant yellow star at the centre illuminating all in such a beautiful manner.
We then moved towards the Battleship Rio Grande, in orbit of the desolate Planet Gunnison.
Afterwards, we set a new heading towards Planet Denver, the only populated planet within the system. The planet is home to an Ageira HQ, a Cryer Research Base and is heavily protected by the Liberty Police Inc.
Due to some run-ins with Bounty Hunters and the Liberty lawful forces, I decided to drop the Synthetic Marijuana off at the Cryer base, planetside. They were happy we had taken it thus far but disappointed it couldn't be taken the entire distance, they later dispatched a transport convoy. We did, however, manage to get a handsome sum of 360,000 credits for the delivery.
We're going to be moored here for the night, then move towards Norfolk shipyard tomorrow. Hopefully we can be repaired fully there.
Current Star System: Colorado Crew Compliment: Seventy Eight Persons Aboard: Ninety Four Ship Status: 87% Supplies: 90% Fuel Status: 97% Day: 15
Before we leave Planet Denver, it has come to my attention that we areflying severely under-manned. We have to stop each night for the crew to sleep and in that combat situation with the Lane Hackers and the Xenos, we could only just fend them off before they tore through our hull. We needed dedicated and skilled crew. What better place to find them than a Libertonian planet? So, we took aboard Forty Six new crewmen. We can now add the following to the roster:
I have also dedicated deck four to scientific research of the systems we study. I am also introducing a new directive, any planet we encounter or asteroid belt we enter that hasn't been totally explored and logged in our databases will have samples taken from and studied by the science crew. We're going to catalog Sirius.
One last crew change – I have also installed the communications post on the bridge and assigned six crew members to this post. They will be headed by Lieutenant Solomon and will handle contacting other ships and translation.
Current Star System: Omicron Theta

Well, it's been a while ... but I've finally had a chance to get back onto the Star. She was sent back to Theta a while ago now, defending Zoner interests and all that political jazz. Anyway, long story short ... I'm back in business! The Star'll be out in space soon! Haha! It's great ... I ... Can't get over it!
We'll reach the unknown depths of space in no time!
