In game music change?

I think I saw something about this recently.

My question is, is it possible to change the files used for ingame music?

Whenever you get close to enemy units the in game music changes from regular to 'battle' music. I'd like to change the track it plays when this happens, to play a simple alert sound on repetition, rather than music. it would still be a regular music file.

Sound possible? Would it effect anti-cheat?
