ENCRYPTION:MEDIUM SENDER ID: Commander Victor Keys ::: Liberty Navy Texas Armada, 56'th Division ::: 4-56| RECEIVER ID: 4-56| Headquarters LOCATION: [LN]-LNS-Mississippi::: Texas System ::: Liberty SENT ON: 06 (Friday) ::: 12 (December) ::: 820 A.S. SUBJECT: Florida Keys Downed (1/4)
----------
Howdy, y'all. Commander Victor Keys, here... I'm aboard the Mississippi since, as the title of this message states, the Florida Keys has just been disabled by 3 Deer Caps... and high above Planet Houston, of all things! A sad day for the 4-56'th, if a little strange.
I launched the Florida Keys for a usual patrol, when suddenly LNS-Amadaeus contacted us from New York, sayin' there be some Deers right in the Apple. After quickly groupin' in with Amadaeus, we headed to FortBush Junction to start our huntin', and just as we were headin' to the Mainapple next, we came 'cross the two capitals that Amadaeus be talkin' 'bout: 1'st.Rheinland.Fleet, a Turtledeer, and 2'nd_Rheinland_Fleet, a Deerboat.
We tried communicatin' with 'em, but they quickly opened fire without sayin' a word! Well, after we hollered to Amadaeus to get his hind 'round to us, we defended ourselves real-fine. It was a bit close, took all our bot reserves, but we managed to down the Turtledeer before the Amadaeus showed up and helped us mop out the Deerboat.
But shortly after, scanners found us a Biggybrick, callsigned Mehanik. Well, we told 'em to stand down, but he dun listen to our word, so we were forced to give chase.
... I swear, the captain of the Amadaeus be duller than a smooth rock, cause when I ordered 'em to CD the Biggybrick he just dun did do nothin' for the better part of 3 minutes. We did our best to kill the darn thing, but had Amadaeus been a little more competent with his CD we may have had a chance to rope down Mehanik. Instead, we chased the darn Biggybrick for another 10 minutes until I figured our crew's got better stuff to do. We broke from the chase and let Amadaeus continue huntin'. Dun know yet if he be successful or not, he dun report to us yet.
We were right 'bout havin' more interestin' things out there to be done... The captain of the LNS-Manticore picked up reports that a fleet of Deer ships be headin' to Texas. We mobilized towards Houston Junction, and sure enough there be the small Deer fleet near the Minnesota Jump Hole. But what's strange be that, in addition to the Bismarck which was a Turtledeer, two of the ships actually be the same1'st.Rheinland.Fleet and 2'nd_Rheinland_Fleet we engaged and destroyed back in the Apple.
Unfazed by this weird circumstance, me and Manticore planned to trick 'em to come near the Mississippi. We only found out, to our surprise, that that plan be dun' unnecessary, since they decided to charge Houston Junction anyway! Well, lemme tell ya, their blind charge seemed to have paid off, and them Deers managed to disable the Florida Keys from close range.
And so here I am, in the Mississippi, writin' my report, while the Flagship be under heavy repairs. Unfortunately, the black box for the Flagship got a little corrupted from that last battle, so we dun have any guncam shots 'bout any of the battles.
Admiral ma'am, even if we dun have any proof, I mighty-suggest you try and at least notify the A.D.M.I.N.S. 'bout this incident, seein' as how it ain't possible for the Deers we blew up in the Apple to magically appear in Texas mere minutes later.
As for the Florida Keys, thankfully the ol' girl's still got lots of fight left in her. Our engineers back in Norfolk predict she'll be back to combat-readiness within 24 hours...

Howdy, y'all... Vice Admiral here, reportin' my day. Look, I'm really tired, It's 2 in the mornin' as I report this, so I'll keep it brief.
I undocked from Planet Houston in my D-Category ship, and I was patrollin' 'round Norfolk Junction alongside LNS-Paxetbonum when suddenly a Junker Frigate callsigned Mr_Scott arrived from Texas. Well, we scanned him, and found out he was haulin' some military-grade Liberty Navy guns that he salvaged from a Liberty Navy wreck in Rheinland. Well, we told him he needed to drop the military-grade equipment, but he used the law as a shield, saying the laws didn't restrict him from carrying it.
Long story short, we argued, I was itchin' to SNAC 'em, but I decided to be all diplomatic-like, then I suddenly get filled with ions, and when my ship systems returned he got away scint-free, due to the efforts of [LN]-Jason.May having taken the letter of the law instead of its spirit. I swear, Harriet. You need to address this issue in your next report to the Fleet Admiral.
So yeah... after he got away, LNS-Nimitz contacted me there was this Lane Hacker VHF 'round the Mainapple and WestPoint Junction trade lanes. I investigated, and found Vladimir,Scorpius. I ordered him to leave, he didn't, I engaged, I lost. Yeah... Need to fill in a request for another Upholder.

So as i started my patrol in the new york system, I saw lots of activity on the Detroit Debris Field. I went in to investigate and have a closer look. There was a large group of Navies and collaborating Freelancers, hunting down a Nomad light fighter, Named K'hara|Ennugi. I went on to attack the squid, along with the rest of the task force, i managed to inflict some damage to it, but the damn thing was too fast for my class-B "Executioner" Heavy Fighter, and it managed to outmaneuver me. Yeah, I got blown outta the sky.... Luckily my escape pod was still intact, so i managed to make it to Planet Manhattan.

As i started the usual patrol route from planet Manhattan, I was contacted by an operative of the 5th fleet informing me in and operation around the kepler system checking by for hostiles, also establishing secured comms. So i went out to the kepler system and remained stationary in the Ames research station along with 5th|LNS-Cincinati. As they were establishing communications with a Xeno remaining at the Ames station, a hogosha member appeared. He was quite a mouthy guy, raising arguments with me and my fellow navies. As our guys were returning to base, there was a trader coming in callsign: Universal|Chimera. He took the lane to the Shikoku system, and he got stopped by 2 hogosha members (as one of them was staying back), trying to ilegaly tax him. he sent out and SOS message to me and I went in the lane reaching out for him, but i didnt arrive quite in time. They heavily damaged his vessel and he had to drift to baltimore shipyard for repairs. So i went on and attacked the hogosha, one of them had a freighter/small transport, (i dont remember the callsign) and the other had a bomber class vessel, callsign: [|]Hagetaka . I did severe damage to the small transport causing him a sligh flame outburst, but he managed to run. Afterwards i engaged the bomber, who also made the wrong move, but he realized it quickly, running before catching flames. Then Chimera made it back to Ames with the repairs finished, and we called in an Naval Forces officer, requesting him to escort the trade vessel and add the 2 hogosha to the criminal database.
Thats all for now.

Just as usual, started patrol out of planet Manhattan. Soon i met up with a LSF cruiser, callsign "LSFC-Athena's.Cannon" commanded by ms. Captain Kole Buriet. As i was about to proceed on taking the lane to the West Point Military academy, we detected a bogey or our scanners, hiding behind planet Manhattan. After getting closer to investigate, we found out it was and outcast strike craft, callsign "Sushi". It decided to break for it, running out to rochester's base, where he was accompanied by a hacker transport, callsign "LH~Brokenclaw". Upon noticing us the 2 enemy vessels, decide to dock in order to avoid arrest.
We proceeded with our patrol, to the fort bush area, where we found a freelancer, using an illegal transport also carrying contraband commodities. He was asked to drop the contraband commodities, but he rather tried to offer us a bribe which wasn't quite a good idea on his side. Desperately, he dropped only the slaves, which were secured onboard the "Athena's", and ran for it, docking into fort bush. I am not sure about how he was allowed to dock, but a software malfunction is suspected.
As we go on with our patrol, we pick up readings from rochester's base again, and as expected it was the 2 bogies, this time the hacker was on a strike craft (designation: "Sabre"). I proceeded in engaging them, doing considerable damage, before tripping on my own mine. Crap happens.. maybe too often.
Signing off.

The shift started out in Freeport 4 in Magellan as that is where i made an emergency landing because of the upcoming ion storm, after returning from a strike mission in the new [D-W] Extension in the legionarie affiliation. The downed target was named: [D-W]Lucas_Stone. <enter evidence here>
As i was returning to Texas to meet admiral Harriet, to ensure protection of an USI vessel named: [*USI*]Uhuru[L-E]
On the way, in the New York system, I ecountered an insurgency on the "Norfolk Shipyard > Texas Gate" lane. The hostile's name was LH~Vladimir.Scorpious. After an intense fight i managed to destroy the enemy. <enter evidence here> There was no girlfriend to save him this time. *laughs*
After patching up with Admiral Harriet i continued patrol in the New York system And found a freelancer named: Jared.Starwalker <enter evidence here>
This freelancer was a terrorist carrying exotic (nomad) material and was planning to release 4 wilde infectees on planet Manhattan After a long chase i mannaged to take him down. <enter evidence here>
The patrol ended on the West Point Military Academy.
