I know, I checked the Employment Office thread and saw nothing, but earlier today a .:j:. tagged bomber attacked me, saying I had a 10 million credit bounty on me. Is there some other place where they could be so I can see it, or was that an informal in-game thing?

It was probably a personal contract--by one person. You don't have a "contract" by the Junker Congress on you but you may have offended a member to provoke his taking a private one out. Junker contracts are not through "bounty hunters" and they are not usually posted or adverted.
