Okay, I'll give them credit that it apparently was something accidentally left open. But remembering this history of this clan on this server, I can't say I'm shocked in the least. (If you think those memories of that history are favorable, think again.)
Having said that - and meant it - since I'm no longer really an active member of this community simply due to real life (amazing what happens when you work 60 - 70 hours a week - you tend to lose the desire to deal with the crap that happens here, because your free time is tied up with living life instead of these pixels) - having a clan show up - even a bad clan - will help keep the game and server alive.
No, that's not a backwards compliment - it's intended to be what it is. A slap in the face to the group DW as a whole, and a not-so-subtle reminder that some of us have long memories of your past actions, and also we don't let go of things. We keep them in dark cellars, occasionally pulling them out to gnaw upon the gristle remaining on the bones as a reminder of past glories and defeats.
Also, Maxim 1 - pillage, THEN burn ... And of course, Maxim 37.

You put a way too much thinking and drama into it, you are also over complicating it.
Let them make it core 4, gather 4-5 good players and organise the LNS swarm to remove the base.
You need 2 snubs for the platforms and 14 battleships for the base, not that hard to gather in Liberty.
