i'm a muslim, but that makes no difference, if some muslim ruins the gameplay, he must get banned, same for anyone else, whether christian or jewish. hate or racism are not accepted in disco. be civilized.
note: i didn't read the whole thing, but if it was about an in-game RP of some extreme faction, then never-mind my comment ^^

I do not think it a wise move to play a harrassing and trolling character and then try and argue that it´s all in RP, it takes too much time from the Admins and probably does not really bring good RP or more activity to the server.
Haven't met the Order admiral yet, have you?
I work on avoiding him, but my little Zoner was present in Baffin ;-)
Not that I play him a lot, somehow my membership application to TAZ never got processed.

And that is just the point :
Letting some RP move towards religion or towards violent extremists is fine, as long as it is clear that it is RP, and inGame.
The other option is ... unpleasant.
Any belief has it´s extremists. And every belief has its value.
Be it monotheistic, atheistic, pantheistic or ... discordian ;-)
But to stop on the middle of the bridge only to worship the stones is not going to get you further along the path. It will only give you some "righteous" reason to be an [insert favorite swearword here].
People who stay here a while should usually have enough creativity to be able to [x] be a nuisance / [] find other reasons to fight / [] keep OOC out of it.
I am an atheist, or anti-theist would fit me best. But I didn't come here to say just that, But to realize that each person is free to do as he wants as long as he doesn't try to impose his religious views on others. Rp or no rp, it's just tasteless. So be whoever you want to be, but evangelizing to people is not a good way to have friends.
As for role-playing a fictional religious group, that's fine so long as it does not disrespect a real religion.
From what I've seen, however, I do have some very serious concerns but I'd be wise to keep quiet on that.
