ye if I thought someone broke a rule, I'd post a report.
this is just normal feedback, pointing out that cloak play is lame and leads to non-interaction (why should anyone put up with spending ages tracking and locating the noms, when they just cloak up and go "tihihi"? What good does the infini-cloak do for the mod and community in general? Moreover, what good does it do for the K'hara faction as such?).
Also pointing out that attacking a VHF with a Marduk is silly, there is 0 chance of success for the Marduk unless he pulls a douchebag move or the VHF pilot is useless.
Hello there. I am part of the K’hara, I cannot speak for the K’Hara
Not all K’Hara do this - some do and some don’t. While I am sympathetic to your displeasure. I would like to assure you that not all K’Hara do that. Just because one is in an official faction doesn’t mean they are better than the independents at times. Everyone has lapses In judgments, I once engaged in a fight in Tau-37 that I wasn’t meant to be a part of. I was a learning curve for me and something I learned from. Now while I could have taken that as just Q_Qing, I gave more thought and asked as to why they believed such.
Now I understand your disgruntled tone in this, but what I have noticed is when one responds with a negatively fueled response to something. Such as your peeved off “what the hell.” Although justified, one might respond with a more staunch defensiveness as observed. Maybe a better approach would be a more honest one(and less negatively charged). Talk to them with a more level head and let them know why you didn’t like it rather than the brief summery. I can only guess the reason as to the Feedback being closed was because it turned into more of a “Complaining.” Then anything constructive. If you really wished to give feed back then it would be easy enough to contact the faction leader instead about the incident. There was and is nothing stopping you from doing that.
If you would like - PM me your skype and I can talk to you over it.
What I hate the most is that indies are losing these cloaks and K'Hara get to keep them. Both K'Hara and indies are guilty of abusing cloaks (maybe even indies less so).

Either way, I never meant to "trial by forum", and as I stated in my first post, I would have posted in the feedback thread if that hadn't been locked. Open the feedback already, and there wouldn't be much to discuss.
Nomads are a faction that is hated by anyone. It has NOWHERE to land. Not to mention, they are way advanced that humanity. Why do you want to take in-lore superiority, from an alien race - and a faction that is not even restartable and you need a lot of good RP and abilities to be in?
Limited cloak on Nomads is the most stupid thing ever, since it would hit the lore. So called "balance for sake of balance" is silly, when you want to strip out the lore faction that relies on stealthy approach. "Balance for sake of balance" is sometimes more silly and worse than political correctness.
Just saying. Nomads shouldn't have limited cloak, because of the little fact they WILL be killed by anything that moves. Especially in Omicrons or House space. Nomads will be useless without unlimited cloak and faction will die eventually, because it will have NO ABILITY to traverse Sirius SAFE.
Conclusion: If players are breaking the rules, punish players, not whole factions or make changes to ID. Punishing all because of one never worked and will never work, except in army.

May I remind you that K´Hara existed for years without having any cloaks and they didn´t die. Exactly opposite situation was there in fact, as most of the time they had luxury of having very demanding or even closed recruitment (as far as I remember it was invite only faction for some time), because there was steady flow of interested players which wanted to be in (despite being total target for everyone when playing).
To topic of cloaks, must be used wisely. And they were not (don´t know if this changed, didn´t have experience of encounter with K´Hara for some time personally or through friend´s experience). Some people pointed out in the past that one of results of K´Hara overusing cloaks is dramatic decrease of Order activity. Back then, there was active official faction, very active unofficial faction and lot of indies. That´s gone. Lot of people stopped bother to log when they see K´Hara in player list because they are tired of chasing cloaked nomads, especially when they are willing to uncloak only behind your tail and try to instakill you.

I've brought this up plenty of times. Personally, I am less interested in playing a Nomad ever since (a few weeks after) infinite cloaks were introduced. The main reason for this is that I -enjoyed- being a popular target on the player list. Both for PvP but also for roleplay - after all, some people actually 'hunt' Nomads to then go and get their minds toyed around with, or because they have some sort of Nomad-friendly roleplay background (i.e. Outcasts).
Nowadays, however, everyone (rightly) assumes that every K'Hara on the player list is indefinitely cloaked until they come across some sort of friendly contact (hurray, cyber) or an easy blue message. This means that nobody bothers to log on to search for them. Sure, at times it was annoying to get jumped on by half a trillion Libertonian capital ships while flying a Voidrunner from Iota to Drake, but then again, that's what you get for flying a flippin' Nomad through Liberty.
tl;dr (infinite) cloaks are bad
p.s.

I didn't even know official factions were allowed to do that.
Feedback threads are voluntarily set up by official factions. They're not forced upon them by anyone else. This means they can also close them on demand.
