Before the change of hands, The Core had already had diplomacy with the Star Zoners. Further down the line, with the annoucement of our laws, we had begun initiation of our base taxation program.
Since you are now the new owner of Star Space Port, I feel the need to inform you of current affairs between Star and The Core. You are expected to pay 30,000,000 to Core|Bank.1 as soon as possible. Once that is done, you will be given the opportunity to be enrolled in a special benefits program that I will expand upon once the base fee has been paid, and if you are interested.

As the Star Enterprises Inc. are no longer involved in Star Space Port, we had to access their computers and learn more about your past dealings and also about the organization you represent. Your demands however create two significant issues.
• Living under the laws of a certain organisation will compromise our neutrality. And that is something that we cannot afford to lose.
• We are Zoners. We left the Houses and came to the Edge Worlds in order to live outside the laws, to live an isolated life. So your claims, except of course that they are insane as they cover almost half of the Sirius Sector, defeat the purpose of us coming here in the first place.
I sincerely hope that I have adequately explained to you the issues that your claims have caused.

Do not worry, our laws cater to your lifestyle. It's simply a means to protect both our interests in the Omegas and yours. The previous owners of Star Space Port used us as previous security for the base if it came under attack. And indeed, I'm fairly sure there's a fair few out there who would like to see your installation burn. You can imagine my upset when I discovered that The Core could no longer dock on Star Space Port. I did not take this as an insult, however it is a grave error as your installation will not be as well defended without our support.
So as you can see, it's well within your interest to abide by your offer. Furthermore, we may be able to introduce other benefits such as allowing you to make use of certain 'materials' that we find within the Omicrons and Omegas.
The Zoners do not have enemies.
We also do not wish to be dragged into conflict by taking one side or another. Only the Wilde stand as a potential hostile force in the region and we wish that list to continue to be so small.
I should also apologize for removing your docking access. In fact we did the same with hundreds of other tags. Star Space Port is currently being modified as we destroy the factories and create facilities which will spiritually better ourselves. In fact only the Zoners of the station and our suppliers currently have docking access. Once the modifications are complete, the Star Space Port will be open again to Core vessels, independents included.
Regarding the nomad materials and the vile technology surrounding them, we do not wish to be involved with it in any way. The cloak factory of the station was the first to be removed and hundreds of nomad remains of various sizes left behind by Star Enterprises Inc. were safely destroyed.

Who will defend you from the Wild however? They are a constantly evolving and fearsome threat. How many enemies you have is irrelevant. How dangerous and powerful your enemies are in comparison to yourself is what can be problematic. And considering you are Zoners, I fear for your safety in that regard.
In regards to removing our docking access; that is not an issue however I expect our tag to be added promptly within the next few days at least.
Such a shame that you've given up your interest in harnessing the power of awesome technology. I see nothing vile about the progress of science for power, but I guess that's a personal decision that I can't make for you. I believe you and I could both make a reasonable amount of money by doing business.
Finally, regardless of all else I still expect you to fulfill the payment mentioned in the original comm.

Firstly, I would like to thank you for your concern about our safety. In these dark times, there are few people in this world that care for more than their own self. However I can assure you that the adequate station defences of Star Space Port and the wings that we can field, are currently more than enough to deal with the Wilde threat.
We are also more than happy to hear that the Core wishes to conduct business with Star Space Port. The station is always in a constant need of supplies and we may occassionally have some ore for sale. If the Core has any Discordian members in its ranks, please let them know that we will soon construct a chapel on our base in order to serve our spiritual needs.
Regarding the taxation on Star Space Port I believe I had adequately described in my previous missives the fact that the Star Space Port does not and cannot operate under the recently-created laws of the Core. This of course includes the taxation that you wish to impose on us.

You will only get our aid if you abide by our rules. Your installation can function as it would normally under our laws with little to no changes in it's daily routine of operation. If you do not abide by them, then not only will we not help you, but you will also have trouble with us.
I expect you in your next reply to send us the payment, or else there will be trouble.
On 23rd of February 822 A.S. at 5:23 we held a mass in which the Discordian members of Star Space Port participated.
We sang to the Goddess of Entropy, to the Goddess of Chaos. We made jokes and drew pentagons.
Once the ceremony was complete, our hearts were full and our minds settled. And we agreed that we want to continue to live under pure chaos!
The Zoners have no quarrel with anyone. If you wish to create trouble with us, then that will be your doing. We will defend our station until the last man.
