Right, so I've got a few suggestions for spicing things up in Leeds. They might seem a bit extreme, but there we go.
1) Blow up LD-14 - Exiles or BAF raid, industrial accident, whatever. No docking points within the Uranium field. Shift a MOX sellpoint to Stokes, with the explanation that Gallia is trying to do there what BMM did with Birmingham.
2) Add Uranium Ore to the field as a minable commodity. Extremely high sell in Gallia, Liberty and Kusari, as well as a respectable buy-point for Bretonia on Birmingham.
3) BMM gets a massive mining bonus for Uranium ore, while a Gallic corporation gets a lesser one.
Result being that BMM can try and sneak into the system to mine Uranium for Birmingham (where else are they getting it from?), while the GRN can attempt to chase them out. Adds a mining equivalent to the smuggling satellite on Planet Leeds. Thoughts?

As a matter of a fact, if this is introduced, why not have first a preliminary event revolving around a BAF/Exiles raid on LD-14 (event server much?), with the goal of crippling Gallic supply lines?
The events always generated a lot of interest. Couple that with a neat new activity, and I reckon this could make a lot of people happy.
