Sorry for the short notice, but after hearing about you from my bud Dell (who was also conveniently trapped in Gallia), I'm going to ask a favor.
You're gonna have to get me outta here pretty damn soon, and I need a place to hide. Judging by the efficiency at which you got my bud Dell outta the hellhole we call Gallia, I'm probably--no, NEED TO-- ask the same favor from you.
Why? I got caught talking to Dell before his escape, they were recording the phone call. Now, let me tell you, Dell is getting out of Gallia because he's wanted for murder...that's right, he blew a clean hole straight through one of those Royal Police before he booked it. Now the problem is, he has told me where he went, and right now they're coming for me!
Now I know just how nice and kind the Gallic Royal authorities are *rolls his eyes*, and how they treat their prisoners so well *rolls eyes again*, and because of this I want you to get me out of here.
Oh crap, they're coming for me now, I can see the tank on the launch pad. Tell you what, meet you at Sarcelles 5 kilometers below the normal activity plane. You'd better come here fast too, or I'll be space toast!
*A man approaches Antares, who stands firmly gazing out of the main viewport of his Barrier Gate Station penthouse. He is handed a small pad and nods his approval. As the man walked away he began to read a 'barely' encrypted message from an unknown sender that had been picked up by one of his sources scouring the neural net. He took a drag from his pipe, and after taking it in, made a gesture to someone in a dark corner to activate the holo interface to reply. He turned and stepped forward into the now illuminated holo-recorder at the center of the room*
Well now sonny,
I think Dell mentioned something about this. He was gone again in a shot, and I did him a free favor by getting him back to the Taus cuz he knew my old pal Rheinhard (Rheiny). I went out on a limb to go pull him out. This time if its a friend of a friend, I'm going to have to get a little more out of such an 'excursion', yanno?
You'll owe me for safe passage, but I need manpower, not credits. So tell you what, you come work for me for a while, and I'll put you to good use, get you paid and sorted out with a nice new ship. After that what you do is up to you. What are you flying anyways? The bad news is, you'll have to make it out of the capital area on your own. Just as it was with Dell, I can get you across the Gallic border and to the Barrier Pass, but I can't go any further than just inside Dauphine. Its far too dangerous even for me. If you can make it to the Brigands 'Valence Base', I can get you back to Sirius from there no problem.
I've been tied up with some other things, so head to the rendezvous, and I'll try to make it there within the next 18 hours. Try to sit tight once you're there, if I'm delayed don't go anywhere. I'll take you in my ship personally if need be, and you can get something to hold you over at the first Freeport we make it to. Until then, you're on your own...stay safe kid.
