Of course you agree, you have like 20 characters, none of which are law enforcers!
To clarify, no-one here has complained about pirates. There's not much point bringing up the pirate sob story again, we all know traders have it too good. I simply raised the question whether the server rules should be changed to discourage unlawful activity in New York but it turns out that seems to be everyone's favourite place to blast up some capships without fear of intervention. I tend to agree with Wolf's line of thinking:
Quote:if a faction is aligned with a certain NPC faction, they should be doing what THEY do, and not interfere with other systems' business
but having NY as a "No RP Necessary" zone will do. It's just that from the "goodguy" perspective having several players blowing stuff up in NY makes it look like the "badguys" control the centre of the galaxy :0P

Traders have it so good that when i trade i usually read a book, or just leave the ship going from a to b and go AFK to do other thing, or minimize and read the mail, program, etc... Because i know that nobody can disrupt my ship...
Although, if trading were sooo hard as having to be all the time at the helm, i wont trade at all. Because i consider trading the most boring thing by far in the FL universe. Well, if i had to run from pirates that would add some spice and fun to the most boring task in game.
(If you find any mistake in my English, please let me know via a PM)
(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )

If we make NY an RP zone as well, than Phantoms have every right to attack any NPC in the system. They are aligned with Xenos. Xenos are present in NY. Xenos attack Liberty military/police ships, so Phantoms are able to as well. Whether NY is a RP or non-RP zone, phantoms can attack stuff there within the rules.
And Badger, they can be law enforcement if you pay them to be. ;)
