Anti-Fighter undodgable battleship missiles (MP test)

TL;DR

Anti-Snub capship missiles.
5k Range
40 ammo
1.00 refire
Sidewinder damage (6000)
Mosq CD tracking
Will turn around 180° to keep following you

BUT: They have a max speed of exactly 10 m/s slower than a thrusting snub.


Basically it is an alternative to an instakill razor. The snub has to either keep shooting the cap or start running away and spamming CMs at the wave of relentless missiles that can easily ruin their day if they score a hit.




Some MP testing. Might need to reduce reload speed and up damage to compensate, otherwise it might cause server or fps lag when two or more BSs would be firing them.

I don't really know if this is a good idea or not. I need to think about it longer but I really do like more ideas in this direction. Right now capship balance seems very... nonexistant to me. Battleships being useless and gunboats the best you can have. So maybe we need to think out of the box more without producing something hairy in the process.

It was just an attempt to show people how easy it is to mod Disco if they wanted to start screwing around with modding in general. The whole idea is just a fun little experiment to show that there are more interesting alternatives to an instakill razor.

You can actualy add a trail effect for them (i know, i'm a cap) using some engines or the other weps trails. Such as... You can add the Archer's FWG trail and spectate a funny result.

This might actually be balanced with a very short range and an even shorter "life period". Something like... advanced flak that can track the enemy ship for a short period. But ye, those missiles turning to track the ship after they missed the first approach was gold.
