No, its Omicron lost in vanillia too, you just cant jump there. I know this because in FLmod (whatever the heck that program is called where you can edit systems, i havent used it in a while) it says when you hover over omicron lost in the top title bar of the window "FP7-System"
Was filmed in Lost, but canon says FP7 was in S-17.
I don't really know why the Zoners would build a Freeport in Lost unless it was either a trade hub (it's not, it's a dead end system), or it had some valuable resource to collect (it doesn't, unless something gets added).
Personally from an RP perspective I see rebuilding FP7 as a bad idea. When something of a tradgedy of that scale happens, memorials are usually put in their places. Something about respecting the dead and their memories, it becomes taboo. Build a new station if you want, just not in the same place and deffinately not the same name.
They would never, for example, rebuild the twin towers in the same place they once stood.
That's my opinion anyway.
The custscene was probably filmed in lost for scripting reasons, also in vanilla when you look at the remains, it's a different station class. In the cutscene it was a lot like West Point with a bunch of modules. The wreckage is like Trenton, Lepzig, and a million other stations.
I think that we should restore it for the above reasons.

Necromany is bad, mmk?
That being said you can hardly fly through any of those systems without nose planting into a system, it's about as barren as a thing that isn't barren. The nomads are nature's station hoovers, cleaning up overcrowded systems since 800AS.
