Over the past 48 hours, talks have been underway between the Core and the CoF t' prevent more lives from being lost. While we hope for a peaceful outcome, we must also be prepared for war. I ask that aid still continue t' Freeport 11, as well as aid t' the various Zoner stations with an effort t' improve upon station defenses, should the peace talks fail.
But, I urge all of you, t' take a defensive stance when dealing with the Core, as we have asked from the beginning. If the peace talks are t' fail, I will not allow it t' be as a result of our actions against the Core. As murderous and bloody thirsty their actions may have been, any chance t' prevent more lives lost MUST be taken. While many of you have your own quarrels with the Core, I ask that any actions against them be by your own accord, and not in any way related t' the Freeport 11 conflict.
May all our thoughts and prayers be with the lives lost, and let us not forget them. But let us build a better future, instead of succumbing t' the desire for revenge. For those that believe in Karma, those who acted in such a malicious and violent way will get what is coming t' them and what they deserve. But not by our hands. Let us not succumb t' their level, and let the truth of the matter be the weapon we wield.
Thank you all.

Well, Finn,
I commend you for trying to reason with the Core. Being a diplomat can be just as nasty as being a front line soldier. I know, I did it for years with people like the Core, Corsairs and many, many others. I don't regret hanging up those robes and letting them collect dust.
I will continue supplying medical and humanitarian aid as I can. Commander Cook on Med Force Three tells me that her medical staff has been able to rest a bit. That's a sign of your success. We would rather treat people for on the job injuries and such rather than patching people up from battle.
If I can be of greater assistance, let me know.
Sincerely,
Dr. John Henry Holliday
