So being in Australia I expect dodgy ping and some lag (normally 300ms and 5-10%)
However, the last 20-30 minutes I have experience 600-900ms and 35-60%
I tried a DNS flush, resetting everything with no joy
Not sure if this is coincident with the new server location but I ran an Ookla speed test to paris and was getting my usual 300ms

See if it carries on over time.
No worries, appreciate the reply. I'll see how it is in a few hours/tomorrow

Not sure how that would help, actually.
However, recently I have noticed major lag spikes on my system due to several windows processes. Are you using win8/10 by any chance? Might wanna look at that the next time it happens - local services concerning windows update and the service responsible for "smart" network usage were killing my connection.
Welcome to my world, ever since the first migration.
I'm pretty much just living with it now. R.I.P. my enjoyment of snubs, I can only fly capitals now.

Saw that DNS can become clogged when using a dynamic DNS connection. I am using windows 10 so I will look into that if it spikes.
