Guild member Morgan Marcus Z reporting. Today was a glorious day for the IMG. Within 16-17 hours, we have managed to deliver a crippling blow to the Outcasts, by destroying 3 Dreadnoughts, 1 Gunboat and a number of Fighter and Bombers.
The day started with a simple breakfast on Java which was brutally interrupted by the alarm going off. The reason: hostile forces in T-37. A wing of fighters/bombers was dispatched to investigate. Upon our arrival, we discovered 2 OC Dreadnoughts and a few Sabres to be present in the system. Just as we were preparing to dispatch of them, much to our surprise, an Order Osiris offered to assist. Even so, we were outnumbered and outgunned. Still, our forces managed, after a long chase throughout 3 systems, to destroy one of the Dreadnoughts and a few of the Sabres, causing the remaining hostile ships to scatter and flee back to the hole they crawled out of.
We returned back to Java full of joy, but little did we know that a few hours later, we would be defending our territories against the OCs again. We were having our afternoon coffee, when the alarms went off again. Again, we were announced that Outcast ships had been sighted, this time in T-23. Scanners showed a much larger force, composed of 2 Dreadnoughts and a Sarissa class Battleship, as well as a Tridente gunboat and a number of fighters and bombers. We now believe they were planning to attack Java, but fortunately, we managed to stop them in time. Needless to say that our forces performed admirably, in spite of again being outnumbered and outgunned by these criminals. Our on-board ships captured the glorious moments when the 2 Dreadnoughts blew up. I must confess, it was a sight for sore eyes:
I was being called out because we had a Samarran issue. We had two of the loitering Java,
wanting a chat. As for those Samarrans, everybody knows they are slavers, so I told
them to go and carve a hole somewhere else. Not that they listened.
But when I was at the point to start to show them where the door was, some funny Outcast
showed up. We got engaged and he was soon shown the door. Altough the shooting attracted
the Samarran's. This evolved into quiet a fight. Although their pilots were too slow compared
with those of ours and they popped on by one. One of their backup pilots that joined rather
early in the fight made it out alive though.
When we thought we were finally done a Outcast fleet appeared. Two Battleships a Destroyer
and what not. With the help of a Bounty Hunter Mako we managed to draw them away. Their
fighter escorts were soon dealt with. And when those were done we haunted down their capitals
with our bombers, we managed to take out a Destroyer in the retreat of the enemy.
No losses were taken on our side and the Outcasts were taught a lesson not to enter the rock fields
where there might be even more Outcast corpses than Niobium rich rocks, after this fight that is.

Guildsmen and women,
Please be aware that the Rheinland Military admiralty has cautioned us about the erratic behaviour of a number of vessels within their reserve fleet. The following vessels have been declared rogue, meaning that the Rheinland Military disavows their actions and the commanders themselves are considered fugitives:
RNC-Lutzow
RNC-Konigsberg
RNC-Hansa
RNC-Steir
The following vessels are suspected to be rogue and are wanted for questioning:
RNC-Henrich
RNC-Dinslaken
I recommend extreme caution around these vessels. Should they act agressively, retaliation with any and all force is permitted, and by word of admiral Rall, will not carry a risk of retaliation - however, considering this matter is really an affair internal to Rheinland, it would be best for the Guild if we steered clear of any hostilities.
Regards,
- Guildmaster Johnathan Sanders

Second part of my report on the readiness of the new IMG shipbuilding program.
IMGC-24C "Gasherbrum" Gunboat - A significant increase in armor and a moderate one in engine capacity allow this ship to maintain the maneuverability of the Hydra while being better protected. No other changes are planned for the near future, and production schedules will be met. I may point that the limits of this new design are yet to be reached.
IMGC-104D "Sagarmatha" Battlecruiser - no problems or obstacles during the design of this ship. All is ready for production. The exploration variant requires a bit more time for completion due to some new experimental systems being finetuned.
IMGM-2C "Annapurna" Mining Ship and IMGT-5E "Nanga Parbat" Medium Transport - design phase on both is completed, and produyction of both ships is already launched - first completed vessels are expected in days.
IMGT-8C-Proto "Shishipangma" Heavy transport - I fear it may come to scratching all work and beginning from the start here. It seems the design is actually sound for a limited cargo capacity only - not something that can do the job of a heavy transport. The current design specs for armor and cargo are incompatible with the available design solutions. Our engeneers have already gone back to their boards and are working hard on both a new design for a heavy transport and possible corrections on the current one.

Guten Tag.
Yesterday defense fighters from Java were called to investigate another situation with Kruger vigilantes in
Tau-23. Two bombers were seen flying around Java, Copper-21 and Copper-91. IMG|Mike.Shibuya. was there
with me. We decided not to engage as long as they don't attack first, as we didn't have any miners or
transports around. They quickly left to Tau-37 anyway, trying to insult us, of course. By the way, maybe we
should contact the Zoners about those guys. I doubt the Outcast would let them dock around their space and
the only base I know up there besides those Sniffer's bases is Freeport 10.
Anyway, later a pilot of ours called for help against another one of those Kruger guys. IMG|Samuel.Ternon was
under attack by Silver-20. Looks like it is another one of those Kruger vigilantes. After quite a long fight one
of my mines finally made that little fly explode.
After he was destroyed I went out with some miners to the fields and watched over them while they mined.
First one was a the Hegemon IMG|Lunar mining for a transport called the.Wasp. And as we went back to
Java I escorted the Hegemon IMG|Solace to the fields. There was also a Junker .:j:.Dis transporting Scrap
Metal towards Tau-37 being hold up by Reavers. I let them handle the situation, it was pretty clear he
wasn't going to any IMG-friendly bases around there...They gave him the chance to dock on Java, which,
after being fired upon, he used. Seems he needed a bit to be convinced that he was doing wrong.
As I said, after that we went to the fields again, and when IMG|Solace was filled and we returned to
Java. The Reavers were still around and a Maquis, Alain.Apollinaire, also showed up. He was wondering
about the EFL module installed on Java - of course I explained to him that it is for docking and refueling of
Gallic ships - like his one. It seems a Gallic "Office of Naval Intelligence" gunboat, ONI-Mordred, tracked
the Maquis though and hunted him to Java. After a short talk they started a fight - at a safe distance,
luckily. The Maquis suddenly disappeared and after waiting for some time I finally docked and called it a
day. That wasn't my fight anyway.
So...
It was quite a busy day for the short shift I had.

Ms. Anna Blanca is hereby transferred from active patrol and combat duty in Tau 23 to Dublin, Battleship Hood.
Effective on arrival, she is appointed IMG Bretonia Defense Advisor and Training Supervisor.
Congratulations, Ms. Blanca.
To compensate for the loss in combat strenght, a new combat ace has already enlisted and will report in to fill the vacant position soon. The kill-score looks promising, I was told.

Greetings. I would like to report a little...something.
Apparently, an Ahoudori bearing Farmer's Alliance papers attempted to "pirate" me right outside Java. Yes, right outside our base. With me in a Scraper miner. Very bad form indeed.
Firstly, I find it strange that the Farmer's Alliance operates in Tau-23. Secondly, I find it even stranger for that individual to attempt to pirate an IMG ship right outside Java. And thirdly, I am completely disgusted by the behavior of the pilot. After this incident, I feel ashamed that the Farmer's Alliance have stooped to this level. In Kusari, they were supposed to be fighting for the oppressed farmers, for the benefit of our people. But today, I realized they were nothing more than petty criminals.
Do excuse my somewhat...crude behavior. He deserved it anyway.
After the comment on him being "speechless" he ceased communications. After that is me rambling on about the Farmer's Alliance and the honour of Kusari, something which I assume, you would rather skip.
Ok, enough of the dreary stuff. Time for some more uplifting news. I am proud to say that I have completed the assignments necessary for a promotion beyond the rank of recruit.
And with that. I would like to request the access codes to the shared repair ship so that I may partake in a high-threat level mining operation as a service station.
I have a lead on some Nomad lasers, which could potentially move my research ahead and I am very excited to get them. I will get back with you when I find something new out.
The main reason I am contacting you is that my Percheron class ship is no longer suitable for the level of danger my crew and I often find ourselves in. The Nomads seem to have made pushes into Omicron Minor and maybe other systems as well. We wish to upgrade our vessel for better protection.
It has come to my attention that the Zoners build a cruiser class vessel called a Corvo which is purpose built for researchers.
Do I have permission to purchase one of these vessels, so that I can continue my research with a little more safety?
