The DiscoveryGC Veteran Player Aid Program - or Veteran Packages, Vet Packs, etc. - is a resource for returning, veteran players to get a leg up when coming back to Discovery Freelancer. Many times players who stopped playing years prior come back to see all their accounts long lost to inactivity wipes, and it can be harder for people who don't eat, sleep, and breathe Discovery Freelancer to break back into the system easily. Thus, these packages exist to help ease the transition into modern Freelancer. To qualify for a Veteran Package, you must have: Not been active in our community for one year Few, if any, characters active on the server, or a very small total worth of assets To apply for this package: Download and install Discovery Freelancer if you haven't already Connect to the server and make a new character, this will help us locate you in order to grant the package Log into your oldest forum account to make this request If you do not have access to your old account, please link it in your request and provide us with any ID details so we can confirm it's you Post a new thread titled "Veteran Package Application: NAME" within the player requests section Please ensure the contents of your post contain the following information: Code: Veteran Package Application Newly Created Character Name: <FILL HERE> Old Forum Account Name: <FILL HERE> Other Identifying Information: <FILL HERE> Newly created character name to receive the Vet Package: <FILL HERE> Your post will only be visible to our Moderators and Administrators An Administrator may reach out to you if any further questions or clarifications will be needed If an Admin PM is not answered within three weeks, the request will be closed.
