Juneau Shipyard, Alaska System.

Juneau was fairly quiet as it usually was, though the presence of a few warship surrounding the area were telling of what code might've been called. A Guardian flew in through the gate, quickly making it's way to the station proper and setting down in one of the hangar bays. The pilot jumped out, the tag 'Tapp' on her suit emblazoned in white letters, taking a slight jog down the hall towards the Fifth Fleet's R&D section of the station.
She'd arrive near the entrance, handing over her sidearm and walking in, curious as to the main hall.
A few soldiers and personnel walked about, chatting and working. One office near the front was clearly sealed off, the bright red 'DND' sign above the door visible. She approached the door, knocking a few times and waiting.
"Don't bother." Came a voice from an adjacent office. "She won't talk, leave or let anyone in. I wouldn't advise trying. She almost stunned me last time for disturbing her." She said, the voice belonging to Phoenix. The commander stepped forward, looking at the door. "She's a bit upset."

"I know. I'm trying to tell her that I might know someone who can help. Not with the manhunt, but with Allen's arm."
She looked at Phoenix, a little upset herself. She knocked a couple more times on the door, audible but not hard. "Nicole. C'mon, open up.. I have something to tell you.."
Silence only persisted from beyond the door. "She won't even let us help her, unless you can take being stunned long enough to get her gun, I don't think she'll listen." Phoenix said, a worried look on her face.
"I'm not just gonna sit back while that.. that.. thing walks off scott free. I'm gonna do something, and dammit it's either help the manhunt, or actually do something with what I've got."
Tapp slammed her fist down on the door a few times, rattling the rivets in the plating. "I don't care if she's upset. I am too. I lost my CO to that inane brat, and I'll be damned if I can't help him because his wife wants to be a twatbag."
A wrench came flying against the reinforced window, cracking it, expressing the type of mood Nicole was in. "If you can dodge her long enough, I can pin her and make her listen." Phoenix said, inspecting the cracked window.
"No. I don't give a damn anymore.."
She slapped her hand against the door, closing her eyes. The door soon slid open, Tapp walking in and prepping herself for any other flying debris. "Nicole! Stop acting so damn angsty. I want to help."
"You should learn to read, Lieutenant." Nicole muttered in an annoyed, bitter voice, very uncharacteristic for her. The lab itself had various pieces of robotics and tools. "Get out of my lab before I have you arrested, Lieutenant. This is a restricted area." Her voice sounded like her throat had been chewed up, dried and coated in sand. The past day she had spent in her lab, leaving solely to visit her husband and daughter.
"How about you read the rank, Nicole. Looks a lot like yours." She calmly approached Nicole, stopping a few feet from her. "Besides.. it's restricted to R&D. Everyone on that ship is authorized. Now, let me help. For Allen's sake."
"I didn't ask for help. I can do this on my own..." She muttered, the sound in her voice gave the impression she was choking up, like she was about to start crying again."Just... get out.." She managed to say, before trying to silently cry, still facing away.
Phoenix watched from the door, shocked that Nicole hadn't almost shot her by now.
