"I was on San Diego when it was attacked. I survived but never helped anyone else. Then the Dauntless, when she was hit. Same deal. I'll be damned if I turn down helping a third time, especially when I can actually do something.."
Tapp silently placed her hand on Nicole's shoulder, rubbing it. "Let it out.. I know it's painful.."
Tapp continued to rub her shoulder, running her own scans in the background. Given the nature of the situation, and what had happened to Allen, she had to make sure her entire form was formatted and ready to be blueprinted. "Let me help you and Allen, Nicole.."
After some time, Nicole got herself together, setting her glasses down and wiping her eyes clean. "And how can you help, you some kind of cybernetics specialist?" She muttered, clearly still in a state of instability.
"You could say that.."
She stepped slightly in front of Nicole, looking to her face. She flashed her irises a bright green, which was a turn from her usually brown shade. "You might also say 'you skank'.."
Nicole got a little angry seeing the flash. "Tapp. What the hell are you?" She said in her gritty voice, her right hand trailing to her side arm. In her unstable mind, possibly thinking Tapp is one of the conspirators who allowed the attack to happen, so she was very suspicious.
Tapp let out a small sigh. "Do you remember that whole synth fiasco R&D was told about? I'm one.."
She pulled her hand from Nicole's shoulder, taking a small step away. "If you want to shoot me, then go for it. Just.. make sure it's a killshot.. and use me to help Allen.."
"And when the hell did you plan to tell anyone?" Nicole said, gritting her teeth, restraining herself from outright shooting Tapp. It was obvious to anyone she was incredibly unstable, unpredictable.
"Around the time Allen lost his arm.. I didn't want you to go unknowing for much longer. I just thought that since the whole deal with the synth on the transport that you'd be a little.. itchy towards what I am.."
She kept her hands down, relaxing. If Nicole was to shoot her, she wouldn't fight back, despite what everything in her head said otherwise.
Nicole sighed, taking her hand off her gun. She turned around, leaning on her table, looking the amalgamation of parts and failed blueprints over, reflecting on her many failures. "Fine.. but how exactly do you plan to help? Everything I've done here has failed. Plans, blind attempts, all of it a failure, like me..." She muttered, looking down and the table piled up with her failed attempts, seemingly all from today.
