The Council is proud to announce that it has successfully brokered a armistice and subsequently a formal declaration of muturally assured neutrality with the Order and the Order Overwatch. After the betrayal of the 101st Razgriz Spectres and the dishonourable conduct and subsequent ousting of the Church of Sirius, the Council has revised its stance on both religious cults as well as outside politics.

Effective today, the following changes are made:

⧫ The Order and Order Overwatch are added to entities considered neutral by the National Council of Malta under §1.3 of the Constitution of Interstellar Law. Order manufactured equipment is deregulated, now legal to be used by Order and Overwatch personnel. Order and Overwatch capital vessels are not permitted in the systems of Omicron Alpha, Tau, Phi and north of the armistice line in Omicron Beta, which is the stellar north of the system with Ruiz marking the middle. Order and Overwatch personnel are forbidden still from approaching the wreck of the sleeper ship Hispania, the graveyard in the Siniestre Cloud and the entire system of Omicron Phi.

⧫ Kemwer munitions are deregulated, now legal to be transported by anyone. However, due to the unknown nature of the weaponry, a ten click distance to any Outcast solar is enforced. In return, the Overwatch lifted its regulartion on Cardamine. In turn, Cardamine will not be allowed on Order solars.

⧫ The National Council of Malta pledges itself to the fight against religious zealotry and ruinous movements who wish to conspirate with the aliens against the good of Malta. To that extend, the National Council of Malta has reviewed its laws on the topic of religion and has ordained that only Christianity shall be legally protected under the law. Furthermore, the National Council of Malta will undergo perpetual efforts to keep alien infiltrators out of its reigns. As long as these individuals surrender to us, they may expect no harm to come to them.

⧫ As an aside, the Council has also lifted the restrictions on cloaking devices for entites under §1.1, §1.2, §1.3.

I bid you a good day.

We are happy to see that the National Council started to clean itself and finally decided to make peace with the people who oppose the Nomads. The Order never had been a true enemy to the Nation to begin with, all the religious cults made such chaos appear.
Our own ways might have been harsher than needed but we are willing for negotiations with the National Council, including a compensation for the damage we have done following the uncovering of several infectees within the old CID's ranks once we see the first results of the planned removal of alien assets from Malta.

For now I offer you to peacefully co-exist with us until the time has come that we may talk about a possible peace between us.

I imagine that we could work with the following proposal for now:

We would still continue our crusade against the Nomads and their helping hands on our own but gain access to the open Cardamine market again and thus do not need to rely on third parties deliveries anymore. In return we offer to assist the Order as well as the National Council in removing Nomad assets anywhere in Sirius and obey both sides laws in their claimed space. The Order proved to be helpful to ourselves in the past already and a non-agression deal had been made long ago, with the entire Nation slowly establishing a peaceful relation with the Order we shall look forward to a possible strong friendship which will prove more helpful to everyone of us than we might imagine just now.
