Right, so i was at work today, remembering all the good fun noobishness i did when i first started playing this sever? So, i thought i would share some of them with you all, and maybe you could share some too.
I remember my first pvp encounter was when i just bought my armored transport. i was traveling in Bering and i F1'd out because i thought i would be so clever. didn't want that unioner to get my credits, but hoodlum took them all away
After that, i player with some odd Japanese name told me about a secret money farm, Harris prisons to the battleship right out side. So, he loaned me the credits to buy a train and then i made about 350 mil in like two days.
I remember while doing that spam route, there were a bunch of traders in the Container transport there. a bunch of outcasts came and tried to pirate us and they got destroyed. boy, that was funny.
i also remember i had an avenger fighter and i went to help a player being pirated in Texas by Atalwohisdi (spelling?) he killed me four times i think? i had never read the rules hehe..
Then came ICO, if any of you remember that. when we first started off we were a bunch of lolwutting cap ship trader escorts. onetime in Sigma-13, an outcast was following our convoy, he killed my trader (trauth shipping co.) and ai logged onto my ICO gunboat (liberty gunboat) and flew in and re-engaged him. Boy, those non rp days of mine.
back to my beginning days, the player that had shown me the route in tua-31 at harris had started using the speed mod. he got banned and i have never seen him again.
There was another player i met back in the day, one i really liked but i yet to ever see him since i came back in August. something named Satchel.spirit.wolf.. was a pretty cool guy.
Hmm, oh... another time, i remember, my first unlawful was a corsair gunboat with generic pirate ID and rogue iff. i docked on rogue bases too. had no idea of roleplay. anyway, the first person i pirated i got 1.5 million from and i had felt so bad that i ended up deleting that character. was like 9how could i take his hard earned money)
So, any of you have some funny or odd crazy things you did back when you first started?
I mounted 2 firekiss guns and a turret on my pirate IDed, Outcast IFFed Sabre. "I stoled it lol" I liked their green effects.
Then I flew back to NY, went though the jumpgate which had two gunboats sitting on the other side. And they blew me up without a word.
If they were gonna blow me up for being a pirate they could have at least let me pirate someone first. =D
Then I had my Zoner IDed (can't remember the IFF, prob'ly police) Wyrm with corsair guns. But it was okay, cause I was a zoner. I deleted that ship about a day or two after I made it though. Surprisingly I never got any questions about it, despite hanging around outside Manhatten for a couple of hours.
during my early days though I pretty much stayed to myself. It took me a long time to finally have the guts to go out pirating, I was so afraid of dying.
A person and I were messing around and trying to see how many hard points can we shoot off from the Eagle I was sitting in without killing me. I had my shield down and was constantly using nanobots to repair the damage, he targeted weapons and wings and stuff. We managed to go as far as having just the cockpit portion of the ship left and with little hull, it looked interesting. All my equipment was blown off, including nomad guns, codenames, missiles, all that. I was quite new to FL then so I was proud of all that. So then guess what I did?

I don't know about you, but I sure as hell didn't have an Avenger with nomad equipment, military ID, protecting power traders, in New Berlin at the S13 hole, from the Wilde!
Had 2 occurences of noobishness..was out side of ames research station helping out a new player in system chat..not paying attention to the scanners, when an outcast cylon named ship came up to me..was in my adv train at the time..surprisingly he didn't blow me up because I was helping out a new guy..man was I grateful!!
The other was mining water outside of the freeport up in tau-37 with an outcast player and me being a lawful..hehe
I did one very stupid thing on Alicia Nall, at the time the indie Lane Hacker called Blackmoon. I saw a few pirates planning a raid on Manhattan. Two Lane Hacker Gunships and a Pirate Transport, as I recall.
What was so stupid about joining in? I flew a Stiletto.
I'm surprised I got away from the two bombers chasing me...
Honestly though, I think that was the stupidest thing I did.
