Recent patrolling within Tau space wasn't too successful because tradelane's traffic was really low and we don't meet any transport or patrol ships for 2 hours. After that, we flew too deep Tau systems, especially Tau 23 and Tau 44. On the way, we don't meet anybody as well, except small Crayterian pilots which said "Hello" and we flew ahead to Tau 23 to back home.
But when we reached Brunei Ice Field, we caught a strange signal from the inside. To be honest, it wasn't usual radio signal but rather signal like from escape pods. After we found a signal source, we have seen a large vessel far reminiscent House supertransports. With several differences, though. We've seen also platforms for a large amount of snubcraft and heavy cruiser defences. Obviously, a vessel was under heavy attack - he is badly damaged. Engines are destroyed, hundred hull breaches everywhere (some were caused by the large-caliber weaponry), no contact from the inside, vessel seem completely abandoned.
To get the more detailed information I ask for a group to complete ship observation.
Undoubtedly, this find will serve as a significant improvement of our fleet.
If we manage to fix and re-equip this ship - we will expand our capabilities.
However, Atrum Exercitus, unfortunately, doesn't own special equipment and shipyards to repair this ship. And that's the problem.
Besides, we need to tow a ship on our territory, we do not need to leave it in Tau.
But we, again, do not have a suitable fleet for this.

This day did not bode well for anything. Typical patrolling of the Tau worlds where there is nothing except for asteroid fields and radiation. Suddenly, I received a request for help on our communication channel from ... Leeds. My partner reported the presence of Gallic ships, which apparently had noticed him himself. (And how did they slip past our scouts?..)
I was hurrying to the Leeds system as soon as possible to help my friend, along the way receiving notices of joining the group of other pilots of our humble brotherhood. The first thing I saw in Leeds is a duel between the pilot Lynx'a and Aeternum. The spectators were heavy ships of the class battleship and gunboat. For a moment I was blinded by a white flash from the antimater cannon. It was a good sign for me: the duel was successful .

But the Gauls were not without preparation. They have sent reinforcements to their group immediately. At that moment it seemed to me that it would not be possible to survive after the battle, but then two "Daimos" battleships came out into the arena. Since action at Leeds, I've started to observe Tau region for possible increasing Gallic activity here. I didn't notice something unusual there except transports which coursing to Leeds and back. They've started to use modernized and well-protected transports perhaps to prevent attacks, but they truly underestimate us and our abilities to catch them. In the Tau-23 system, around Languedoc jump gate I've been in an ambush and met Gallic Royal Navy convoy. After short talking, formal cargo demand and obvious refusing to comply, I realized, they are sure about their invincibility and decided to be their own nightmare. Armed transports resisted my attack for some time, but direct shots turned them into the wreckage.
On the next day, I met an interesting person not so far from the planet Leeds on small Rheinland freighter. You could think, this is a typical poor freelancer or foreign observer, but no - his cargo bay was totally filled out with Gallic military vehicles. There was a Gallic collaborator, who tried to confuse me, speaking about pursuit after him. Collaborator's road was over on the Stokes-Planet Leeds tradelane's midpoint.
Funny thing, he was able to call closest Gallic Navy patrol and he tried to drive me away with force. I think, you already understand, this try was the last try in his life.
