Blason de la famille Bordeleaux
Biography & Personal Page: Madeline Sabine de Bordeleaux
"In war, three-quarters turns on personal character and relations; the balance of manpower and materials counts only for the remaining quarter." - Napoleon Bonaparte, Pre-Common Era (approx. circa 1700-1800 C.E.)
Chevalier Madeline Sabine de Bordeleaux is an officer in the Marine Royal Gauloise(Gallic Royal Navy), known for her soft patriotism towards Gallia, and her remarkably elegant disposition. Her charms and posh demeanor have made her a celebrity in the systems of Lorraine and her home of Lyonnais, and in most border and contested worlds where she usually operates.
She was born on Planet Lyon into an aristocratic family, and holds the official titles of Marquess of Lyon, and Margrave of Lyonnais, however her reserved seat in the King's Court is currently held de-facto by her uncle as she continues to serve in the MRG. It is expected however that some day she will retire from the Royal Navy and, after acquiring sufficient experience and political clout, assume her seat as representative of Lyonnais at the Royal Court. Many expect her to end up as Minister for Foreign Affairs at some point in the future, given her brilliant diplomatic acumen and ambassadorial potential.
Close friends and colleagues have shared that common table talk for Lady de Bordeleaux often concerns cultural items from either Gallia or Sirius, or will discourse over philosophy with fellows. Lighter topics include flower arranging, cooking, books, intrigue (gossip) or commenting on the food and drink served to her. B.A.F. and Liberty Officers handled by her who were later released have made remarks on her insufferable elitism and elegant beauty - citing her odd, anachronistic practice of sending captured pilots home. Many have also mentioned however that she is just as likely to jettison one out of the nearest airlock without a suit at the slightest insult or attempt at rudeness. She prefers to speak nobility-tier Gauloise all the time unless the other party is a commoner.
