Representatives and officers of the Liberty Government, Navy and Police
The Bretonia Police Authority are contacting you today with a request to provide any information pertaining to the group known as Triple Hazard Pay (THP). They are a known smuggling firm, or a firm that has an unusually high frequency of smuggling, that has breached the Bretonian charter of interstellar law on several counts of hauling illegal materials and illegal jump trading. We request that information pertaining to this group and its members be shared with the Bretonian Police Authority so as to identify who they are and where they come from.
Furthermore, we would like to explore the possibility of either a join investigation or the possibility of extradition to Bretonia should one of their members be apprehended within the House of Liberty. Below you will find the current charges against the THP, lacking as they are, we seek to further prove their guilt within Bretonia and/or Liberty's borders. It is to be noted that a similar request of the same nature has been sent to the Rheinland government and police and, if everything goes according to plan, a tri-house investigation may very well take place.
For the Officers of the 5th Fleet, we would like to mention that a former officer of your organisation (One Nicole Prower) was the one to mention contacting you. Neither she nor we have the authority or the right to demand access to your reports and files. However she did mention that there might well be a number of reports pertaining to this group that could help in this investigation. We would request that, if you are willing to assist in this investigation, those reports be shared with H.M Bretonian Police Authority. Ultimately this is up to you and we understand if you decide to decline our request.
We look forward to your response and hope that you are equally interested in bringing these crooks to justice as we are.
⇒ Case Number: 25690B ⇒ Incident/s: Restricted cargo, no licence ⇒ Location: New London, Sector D6 ⇒ Reporting Officer: Deputy Chief Inspector Steve judge Today i was making my usual patrol in New London. I was situated outside Planet New London when i was alerted to a vessel, via my TLAGSNET scanner, carrying the restricted cargo MOX. The vessel was moving through the Cambridge system and so, guessing he was heading to New London, i headed to the jump gate. After a few minutes wait the suspect emerged from the Jump gate. I demanded the vessel halt and then proceeded to commence a full detailed scan. The scan confirmed the ship was indeed carrying MOX, to a total of 3525 units. Upon questioning the captain of the vessel stated that he did not have a licence for the restricted cargo nor was he aware of the need for one. I informed the captain what law exactly his actions contravened and he accepted a 2 million credit fine. The vessel was also ordered to fly, on escort, to planet Cambridge where he was to drop off his cargo for analysis.

Good day Bretonians,
To make the introduction quick, I am Vice Admiral Mike Anderson of the 5th Fleet, and I will be handling this from our Fleet's side.
Now, you wish to bring these smugglers and criminals to justice, and I can relate to that. They have been a nuisance to Liberty and our database does contain some evidence of their illegal acts. You will find it attached to this message, and you have the cooperation from our Fleet on this case. Hopefully the First Fleet will also be able to help.

Vice Admiral Mike Anderson
We thank you for sending us the files regarding the THP group, if nothing else this shows us that their activities have extended to Bretonia, Rheinland and Liberty. We would very much appreciate it if you or your commanding officer could possibly bring our request to the other mentioned parties in this communication so as to discuss further cooperation between our organisations.

Greetings.
The captain of the vessel known as THP|Fortune's.Fancy has, under several vessel transponders, racked up no small number of incidents within Liberty. I've attached a read only copy of one of the most pertinent. We are well aware of their general behavior, though no recent incidents have been logged. I hope that this is helpful to you in determining what actions you may wish to take against this organization as a whole.

Admiral Alan Polstari
Apologies for the delay sir.
It should be noted that a number of similar events have also occurred within Bretonia, especially in regards to a third party offering what seems suspiciously like a bribe to officers of the BPA in order to overlook the crimes of his colleague. I've no doubt in my mind that such an offer has not been limited to the BPA.
However, by all accounts it seems the THP group has made themselves scarce as of late. Perhaps word of our investigation reached them, or perhaps they finally ended their crooked ways (I rather doubt it). Regardless, the pressing need to find and arrest them has since past. We will keep an eye out for them of course, as I am sure you and yours will do, but they seemed to have slipped off the radar. If they show their heads again, we'll be sure to contact you again.
