Hello there

I hope this message finds its way, I used the adress of that communication you sent once. Anyways, I've been trying myself on poetry as well after the last times we met, maybe you're interested in the results?
If not this is the time to skip.

I see you carried on, now lets get to the point.

Spring on Cambridge, lush are the trees,
blooming the flowers, busy the bees.

Under the clouds,
on the wide fields, the green plains,
a man lies in sorrow, lies in pain,
his lament be loud.

My brothers were sent,
to fight for Queen and country,
their life and blood spent,
on the field, gallantly.

The roses will bloom,
on their early graves,
reminders of doom,
in all their grace.

I am left to remember their sacrifice,
to let you all know of the terrible price,
we still have to pay,
for Bretonias decay.

I know its not quite a happy one but maybe you'll be able to enjoy it nonetheless, if not have this.

Gallics are blue, Gaians are green,
Bretonia rules the waves,
long live the Queen!

Good morning, Graham.

It's lovely to hear that you share my passion for poetry. It's always pleasant to see how other people express themselves on paper. I do apologize for taking soo long to get back to you, but I've been rather busy recently. I was only able to finish my latest poem yesterday.

I hope you enjoy it.

Farmers, where did you go?

From lane to lane I hop,
'till in Stuttgart I can be
To see what Synth has killed!
Farmers, where did you go?

From lane to lane I hop,
'till in Stuttgart I can be
And see why there's only paste!
Farmers, where did you go?

'Till in Sttutgart I can be,
I'll have to keep on hopping.
I've grown tired of Synth Gel,
When will we their melons back?
Farmers, where did you go?

'Till in Sttutgart I can be,
I'll have to keep on jumping.
I long to see them back,
So we'll give Synth a payback.
Farmers, where did you go?
In case that wasn't to your liking, I thought I'd share one I found in an old book I have.

-Oh, flowers, oh flowers of green pine,
Do you know news of my dearest friend?
Oh Gaia, and where is he?

Oh, flowers, oh flowers of green branch,
Do you know news of my lover?
Oh Gaia, and where is he?

Do you know news of my dearest friend,
He who lied about what he agreed with me?
Oh Gaia, and where is he?

Do you know news of my lover,
He who lied about what he promised me?
Oh Gaia, and where is he?

-You ask me for your friend,
and I tell you he is sane and healthy.
Oh Gaia, and where is he?

You ask me for your lover,
and I tell you he is sane and healthy.
Oh Gaia, and where is he?

And I tell you he is sane and healthy,
And with you he'll be before the time comes.
Oh Gaia, and where is he?
With Regards,
Richard Chapman
