. . . . Quite some time ago a Gallic Royal Navy pilot was intercepted in a combat maneuver. Said maneuver incapacitated the pilot, which allowed CSAR to detain said member. After recovery, PERSUADE operatives were assigned to the prisoner, identifier LYNCHPIN, for interrogation. Unfortunately, PERSUADE has already extracted any intel with their restricted methods of data gathering. ESRD has been tasked to hand off LYNCHPIN to the Secret Intelligence Service of Bretonia, for further questioning and processing.
. . . . Due to potential Datastream interception by hostile listening posts, and, subsequently, potential hostile interference, LYNCHPIN will be handed off through SHORTCUT paths during a combat sortie planned within 1800 hours. Confusion in communication lines should allow SHORTCUT handoff to go without issue. LYNCHPIN will be picked up by SIS forces, and transferred to wherever you see fit. After transfer, LYNCHPIN will be under the complete control of the SIS and any entities denoted by the SIS.
. . . . ESRD expects LYNCHPIN to provide quite a trove of intelligence, however, we cannot disclose what has been uncovered from PERSUADE. ESRD also expects an exchange of equal value for the transfer of LYNCHPIN, however nothing is being requested at the immediate time. A token to claim later, so to say. LYNCHPIN's transfer through SHORTCUT will be considered an agreement to the aforementioned terms.
We are expecting your presence at the point of transfer.
