Hail Corsair Empire,
I am reaching out to you after a lengthy discussion with capitan Ortiga in Omicron Gamma about one of our common foes; Bretonia.
They say a wild animal is at its most dangerous when it is backed into a corner and Bretonia's actions in Omega 49 have clearly demonstrated this.
Capitan Ortiga and I talked in length about the current diplomatic climate in the Omega's, the possibilities of strengthening ties once more between the Corsairs and the Order and the possibilities of combined strikes against the Bretonians.
During our meeting some intelligence was exchanged by both sides that the other were unaware of:
The Order has started monitoring traffic in the Omega-3 system, with the fall of Omega-49 and the nature of the Omega-52 and 47 systems it seems likely Bretonia would try to use the system as an escape route rather than risk angering its Libertonian allies.
Corsair intelligence indicates the Coalition has made an alliance with Bretonia.
As promised to capitan Ortiga, I relayed this revelation to High Command who will look into the matter closely.
While I cannot make any promises on behalf of the High Command as they are looking into the situation,
it is safe to say that Admiral Golanski has a good track record of declaring war on anyone foolish enough to open fire on him.
With the fall of Gran Canaria I have been restationed to the Omega 3 system, assessing the situation there and identifying potential strike targets.
The goal being to weaken, slowdown and hopefully even prevent Bretonia's latest desperate move.
What I would like to propose is a combined operation against Bretonia, restrengthening the ties our two groups once had.
Attached you will find an identical copy of the report I sent to High Command after meeting capitan Ortiga, as well as one of my preliminary
findings while assessing the situation in Omega-3 as a sign of good faith.
Hopefully this will be the start of something grand.
//Edit: Unfortunately I was under the impression the Bretonian declaration of annexing Aland was public, as such that part has been removed. TBH has been PM'd as well.

Hail Corsair Empire,
As you have no doubt heard, Aland Shipyard has fallen. The reprecussions of this can be noticed throughout Sirius now that the Bretonians have a ship production facility once more, IMG kicked out of their own homes and ALG treated as a criminal organization pending investigation in its own house of Rheinland.
I have the fullest confidence the Eldership has discussed my proposal in length since I first reached out to you, however if we are to strike a blow I would say it has to be now.
Before the Bretonians are fully settled into the station and fortify their position.
With the Hessians and Coalition turning their backs on Bretonia, it is likely the Crown will be far too distracted to send any noteworthy reinforcements in time.
I propose we plan a bait and switch operation where we lure in a Bretonian capital ship from Alands and ambush it with combined strength.
I still have good faith that the Corsair Empire and the Order can get out of this stronger together.
Please give my regards to Capitan Ortiga as well.

Hola señor Xander.
Capitan Ortiga has filled me in about the conversation he had with you.
You propose an interesting plan, it certainly sounds well thought out.
The Corsair Brotherhood is currently engaged in a long and costly siege.
We do not have much to spare.
I too would like to see our old ties to return to what they once were.
With the increased Nomad activity, there is no doubt that this is necessary not only for us, but for mankind as a whole.
The latest intel I have in regards to the Order and its dealings with the Coalition state that your relationship is amicable.
The Coalition has been a thorn in our side for quite some years. If we help you with this .. Aland thing... what's in it for us?
Can we expect the same sort of help from the Order?
The Corsair Brotherhood is not a band of mercenaries.
So tell me señor, I am inclined to send some help if you are able to explain to me what is in it for us.
I am glad to hear Capitan Ortiga relayed our conversation,
and even moreso to hear that you too would like to see our
ties return.
While I do not know the details of your siege, I hope your
forces will do you proud. You are correct in your assessment
of the Nomad threat. While the houses of Sirius bicker, wage
their wars and hold their powerplays, the Nomads grow ever
bolder in their actions.
Regarding our relationship with the Coalition; the recent
developments between it and Bretonia has caused our stance
to somewhat sour, this development became known to us thanks
to the information that Capitan Ortiga provided to me during our meeting.
That said, relations with the Coaltion have not grown hostile as of yet.
The Overwatch has proposed several measures that will be implemented
if our cooperation takes place:
1. The Order will not engage in any assault that would include
engaging Corsairs, this means the Coalition would not be aided
if they got into a fight with your troops. An exception to this
would, of course, be any infected Corsair, should such a tragedy occur.
2. The Order will assist the Corsairs against any common enemy,
to my knowledge this would currently include Outcasts, Bretonia, The Core
and the Nomads, this offer would hopefully be returned by the Corsairs.
3. The Order is willing to assist the Corsairs should they want to
reclaim Nauru and Yaren; the Order would like to see the world returned to Corsair hands.
The Overwatch acknowledges these measures are exclusively military in nature
but would like to see ties improve before opening up other potential future options
such as trade. I'm confident the Corsairs as well would like to see how our
renewed cooperation fairs before discussing every detail in advance.
In regards to the planned strike, the Overwatch has dubbed it Operation Armageddon.
Given the majority of your troops are currently involved in a siege, perhaps it would
be best to alter the plan slightly. Instead of providing troops for the initial assault,
would the Corsairs be able to have damaged ships moore and provide escort towards the Sigma's
after initial repairs have been made?
This way you would not have to deviate troops that currently might be needed for your siege.

Señor Xander.
Apologies for the late reply, I am still caught in the middle of an ongoing siege.
Has your relation with the Coalition been altered in any way?
I still do not see what is in it for my people, and our empire.
All I see is an annoying Coalition Carrier spoiling my view.
I must confess I am relieved to hear from you.
Given the long duration between your last message and the ongoing siege the Corsairs are involved in,
I feared the worst may have happened to you.
That said, your words come as somewhat of a surprise.
The relations with the Coaltion haven't changed, we're even a bit more hopeful
they intend to turn their guns towards Bretonia once more.
The offer the Overwatch put on the table though seemed pretty reasonable;
alleviating pressure from other sources through cooperation with the potential
for future trade.
While I understand the Corsair Empire is currently focused on the Coalition,
surely such an offer would be worth at least acknowledging?
We have plenty of common enemies after all.
As for the previously mentioned Operation Armageddon, I hope you will be pleased to know
that it was a success. While it would have been a fitting cooperative strike against Bretonia,
we eventually had to proceed without your aid due to time constraints.
As a result, Bretonia is left licking its wounds and is down a carrier class vessel.
Despite the operation in Omega-3 being over, we'd still like to improve our mutual ties.
Given that the relations with the Coalition are unlikely to change unless they try to befriend Bretonia again,
what non-Coalition related points would you find beneficial enough to Corsair people?
