We increased our cardamine trafficing activities and we expect that agencies will start to notice this and decide to act against us. To ensure the safety of our convoys, we decided to invest in more firepower and thus we are interested in Maltese gunships.
All that we require is the directions towards the shipyard that constructs them and the willingness to sell them to us.

Seeing increased Gallic activities in Tau region, the incursions of the Coalition, and our own insurgents, it would be logical to provide you with "Tridente" gunships. The Cadiz Cartel has a substantial park of the vessels in question and would be ready to sell a few to you. There are a few conditions, though, that I call your attention to:

• the actions performed on "Tridente" gunboats should in no way be directed against the allies of Malta, and/or undermine the image of Maltese diplomacy;
  
• with the point above in mind, Golden Chrysanthemums would be asked to issue a pledge of good will, signifying their adherence to no undermining the public image of Malta;
  
• the purchase of "Tridente"-class gunships shall be carried out in the number of no more than 3 (as of now; number is subject to be changed in the future if the necessity arises) for the funds of the Golden Chrysanthemums;
  
• Cadiz Cartel de Commercio de la Cardamina, aka "Cuatroce", sells "Tridente"-class gunships in its private possession. Those "Tridente" are devoid of special MNS military modules reserved for Maltese Military.
  
• No other Maltese entity has expressed objection to such a deal. In that case, the deal is to be re-negotiated, Cartel can buy-out the ships if the deal fails. If no official objection is raised, the deal is considered as concluded and effective.
  

I believe our terms are reasonable. You should understand that those provisions are with the sole goal of ensuring that Maltese interests are observed and not to undermine you as our trusted Allies.

Availing the opportunity, I would also like to make a personal request. It came to my notice that some of my man favour the sleek profile and elegant design of Golden Chrysanthemums' interceptors and bombers. We would like to purchase a few of those, I would say 3, for Cartel's private use. You are free to raise requirements as we did and I will see them fulfilled if acceptable.

I am Ikeda Yume, first communications officer of the sisterhood. I take care of the official transmissions and I represent the Matriarch of our Golden Chrysanthemum movement in Kusari.

The Gen'an Cell is a militarised GC movement who takes a more direct approach to the oppression faced by the women of Kusari. Instead of waiting for our enemies to change or to vanish, we hope to destroy them. We can hope to change the hearts of the people, but while the puppetmasters enslave hundreds for each puppet that we cut loose, we will never win this war.

Our war efford is mainly fueled by the cardamine industry, but we also provide black market weapons and munitions. The issue we face right now is the lack of a functioning warship industry. For this we are dependant on others, so we decided to turn to our trusted allies.

Excuse us for the delayed reply, we were waiting for the rest of Malta to give their input. The National Council of Malta approved of our request to acquire the Tridente gunships. They also gave us the approval to equip them with Maltese armament. So lets resume business.

You are trying to sell us weapons or is this a prenuptial agreement? When we sell our weapons we simply forget about them as soon as they leave our possesion. Why do you men like to make things complicated...

Alright first term: the actions performed on "Tridente" gunboats should in no way be directed against the allies of Malta, and/or undermine the image of Maltese diplomacy;
These gunships will not be used against Malta, but how do we know if Malta's allies will not attack us at one point. We keep the right to defend our territories with them even if Malta's allies invade them with hostile intentions. We have this idiocy already going on with the Blood Dragons inviting Coalition into Kusari. Blood Dragons are our allies, Coalition is not.

Second term: Golden Chrysanthemums would be asked to issue a pledge of good will, signifying their adherence to no undermining the public image of Malta;
We will do this, but we both know that such a thing is meaningless in this world. Our signature won't mean anything if we refuse to keep to it. We prefer to let our actions speak for us instead.

The National Council of Malta approved of us using their weaponary, therefore we will upgrade the weaponary of the Tridentes to military grade.

We got approval of the National Council and if the Legion would have objected, they would have stated so by now. Do you mean that the Cardiz Cartel can buy-out the ships after credits switched hands? We would object to this. After purchasing the ships, they will be possession of the gen'an sisterhood and the Cartel will no longer have any claim on them

While we are pending our next step, we do owe you our reply regarding the Blossom heavy fighter and the Orchid bomber.
There are 2 things you need to keep in mind.
The first is that our ships are designed for the female physique. So unless you plan to house female pilots in them, you men are simply too big to fit into the cockpits. This means it would require extensive modifications. This is something we do not have the resources for.
The second is that our resources are limited overal, which also means that we have no 'private collections' from which we can sell ships from.

It seems some of the points of the offered deal need clarification. We intentionally it in a form of a loose agreement to provide flexibility.

With the MOA on the loose, we do not expect you not to shoot them despite them having "Maltese" in their affiliation or whatever. The whole point was for you not to shoot first such people as Liberty Rogues and Lane Hackers, and to avoid hostilities in those gunships versus Bretonia (and Mollys, if possible), as that would infringe our public image. I believe since your area of operation is quite different, there should be no problems with that.
   
2. "Golden Chrysanthemums would be asked to issue a pledge of good will, signifying their adherence to no undermining the public image of Malta". This is merely a formality like a signature but for loose agreements. I believe, no problems should be here.
   
3. "Cadiz Cartel de Commercio de la Cardamina, aka "Cuatroce", sells "Tridente"-class gunships in its private possession. Those "Tridente" are devoid of special MNS military modules reserved for Maltese Military." The military modules are special technologies that our Military use, such as cloaking modules of Maltese origin, warp-drives, special armor-plating a,d dissipation-field shield generators. Those are unique techs of Malta and do not come equipped with the purchased ships. The guns, and regular armour are free for you to equip and use. The other modules are free to be installed at your own discretion.
   
4. "No other Maltese entity has expressed objection to such a deal. In that case, the deal is to be re-negotiated, Cartel can buy-out the ships if the deal fails. If no official objection is raised, the deal is considered as concluded and effective." By no means this point indicated that the ships will be in possession of the Cartel. it was a financial safeguard for you that in case of the failure of the agreement because of express prohibition on behalf of the National Council or Legion Maltesa, the Cartel would be ready to buy those "Tridente" gunships back and refunding Golden Chrysanthemums to avoid financial losses on your side.

- Such cases as with MOA and other groups that might be hostile to us in the future, were exactly what we refered to. We have no intentions to disturb those allies of Malta who are not hostile to our goals and businesses. We do wonder what business the Maltese have with Bretonia. We are not aware of these ties.

- You will have the pledge of good will.

- We misunderstood the term 'special MNS military modules'. We thought it refered to the military turrets that are standard issue of the Maltese navy. The lack of specialised hardware is fine. At this point our finances can't cover such devices. We are already content with the standard issue of the Tridente gunships. We will take care of the armor plating and shielding ourselves.

- Another misunderstanding then. We interpreted it as the cartel being able to repossess the gunships in the future.

It seems like we reached an agreement. We will send one of our sisters to the Cadiz Cartel to complete the purchase of the Tridente gunships. I do hope you can enlighten us to what goes on between the Maltese and Bretonia. Our operatives rarely leave Kusari so we have little knowledge of what goes on there right now. Neither is Bretonia one of our markets.
