This is a note to inform you that as of 12.26 PM on this day, the 5th of May 826 A.S, Her Majesties Government has henceforth decided to revoke your access to Bretonia. The reasons for this are, unfortunately, classified under the OSA however it has come to our attention that several events and reports concerning your personnel have been given over to the Government and thus, this 'lock out' (as it is being called) has been passed.
You will be contacted with the Governments final decision at a later date. Bear in mind that any ships found within Bretonian Borders (Including those regions which are currently classed as 'contested' but are traditionally considered part of Bretonia) will be removed, by force if needs be.
The Covenant regretfully acknowledges the 'lock-out' as you've put it. It's unfortunate that our neighbors have decided to impose a declaration such as this on us. Until an investigation is launched, a reason provided and the ban lifted we are required to place the same restriction upon Bretonian vessels when entering Covenant territory. They will be turned away and given ample opportunity to comply.
Furthermore, our representative at the Dunedin installation will be recalled and collected. The station is going to be put under a security blockade until this matter is closed and a resolution is reached. Traffic will be monitored, and vessels deemed non-essential by the blockade's Overseer will be turned away. The security of our people is not a subject we are willing to jeopardize, and it's our hope through equal reaction that the Crown may enlighten us as to the sudden status change so we might begin the careful steps to forging an understanding.
The joint attempt to breach the defensive line by the SIS, Gaians and an Outcast has been thwarted. This attempt has been considered an open and clear act of aggression which disregarded our territory and warning. Further attempts will be met with equal force in spite of all the chances that were given.
I reiterate that you should enlighten us to your reasoning, if your intent is to avoid further conflict. Force will not work here, and I'd much rather not have my hand forced in retaliatory efforts.
The Bretonian Government would redirect you to This Communication for all further talk regarding negotiation and grievances. I will have no further dealing with this particular case.
