I know you weren't. You also haven't played the game in months and are self proclaimed done with Disco so idk what your dog is in this fight.
Do I detect a grudge, or maybe some left over spite? I am able to care about the community while not caring about the game. Care about the crew, not the sinking ship.

We had a secret plan how to weskerize Wesker. So he sieged our local powerplant.
Sorry u dudes had bad fun.
Well, I believe majority of players did have their fun. I did personally. You will never satisfy people who want to create that quote-unquote fair fight. The last thing you should be sorry about is making activity on the server and making people log. Thank you for that and don't let overly obsessed 'balancers' to demotivate you from doing what you doing.
I wonder if we as a community can put our heads together and come up with a respawn system that is not too complicated. Obviously by now we should realise that perfect balance is impossible, no matter how much you move people around from one side to the other. The skillcap is too big and while less skilled players over time get better, aces get better at the same rate. The real and only problem is the steamroll effect. Having a system with timed waves of respawns instead of individual respawns might be able to create more of a push and pull mechanism. Not saying this is the golden solution but I wonder if there's more people who considered some out of the box constructive thinking to evolve the way we do pvp events.
As Madvillian said, there is no perfect balance. You can accept any faction could have their aces out there. The event was fun, El @Pepe, loooking forward to next nutella event. *Rum sip*
