The Genesis Research Group is an organisation formed by Martin Lawrence after the disbanding of the old Ingenuus.
Unconvinced by his colleagues sudden defeatist mindset, the engineer went about gathering what assets and staff he could.
Like a phoenix from the IRG ashes rose the GRG; the Genesis Research Group.
The teams have continued their work on Ames Research Station, currently working to further develop their understanding of how the universe operates while providing their unique insights to those who would defend humanity against the threat of the Nomads.
Due to many staff members having carried over from their IRG days, the organization as a whole is still capable of producing the signature Powercells that made IRG the scientific juggernaut that it was, albeit in far smaller numbers without the massive resources the former organization had at its disposal.
The GRG's goals are to explore unexplored sectors, creating visionary technology and reclaiming their place at the top of the scientific world.
They aim to do this by uniting the best minds of Sirius under the GRG flag, but also by establishing a secury economy for GRG to start anew and
reclaim the resources they once had under the IRG banner.
While GRG is keeping a tight lid on the projects it's currently researching, rumors are already starting to form of dangerous weapons and automated drones being tested and developed. Only time will tell the validity of these rumors.
Drive technological advancement to unpresidented heights;
Become fully independant and self sufficient;
Become known as the undisputed technological experts within Sirius and Gallia.
Faction's Bases of operation
The GRG at the moment operates on Ames Research Base and Corinth Research Station, located in the Kepler system, and Corinth Research Station, located in the Omicron Kappa system.
They both are very important assets to the organisation's growth as they host the main laboratories and facilities needed for the researchers to work from.

Why would scientists need Battleships and Cruisers?
"The teams have continued their work on Ames and Corinth Research Station, currently working to further develop their understanding of how the universe operates while providing their unique insights to those who would defend humanity against the threat of the Nomads."
From memory, you left Corinth, and have 0 involvement there. At least until we work a deal. Which has yet to be done.
Other than that, it looks solid, and I can see a lot of potential for this faction

All Zoners have access to Battleships and Cruisers, Why scientists specifically would need that, i'll explain with plain logic first and foremost, and then explain to you why it doesn't matter.
First of all Battleships (Every Battleship) is practically a floating city, with a massive amount of rooms, hangers, etc. etc. Size in game limits most people to understanding that. It stands to reason that some of those ships would have fast laboratories. And Cruisers could serve the purpose of heavily armored expedition craft or anomaly analyzers as a transport could potentially be torn asunder in the matter of a few seconds by an anomaly.
Here's why this question doesn't matter. IRG had them, Consensus had them. Every Zoner faction in the past has had access to Nephilim class Dreadnaughts, Aquilon class Carriers, Q-ship class Cruisers.
The original purpose of Velvet was to be a small defense wing for Freeport 11 with no access to capital ships. Yet now they have entire fleets out of thin air.
I expect every faction to diverge from it's original purpose at some point along the way. They might not even end up using them, but that doesn't change the fact every Zoner, even indies has access to the capital ships.
With that aside, The write up looks fine from my end, good luck to you. GRG|
First of all, we'd like to thank you all for the wishes.

As Hemlocke said, all Zoner Factions have had access to capital assets.
In a research field, capital assets are very important, as big ships, like Nephilim or Aquilon, can be outfitted to be big mobile laboratories, while cruisers can be their escorts into dangerous space such as the Omicrons.
While on the second note, that was the faction information that has been presented from the beginning.
We had personel that worked on Corinth and they are currently not working there anymore, but the GRG personell on Corinth is still part of GRG as well as their laboratories, therefore it doesn't really require any change.
