The demand for flexible politics has led to the fact that all the well-known for EOS groups of Sirius had to be divided into classifications. Relying on the style of behavior of the groups, the EOS made their conclusions and understood that each group can have its own category, but communication with it should be individual. Nevertheless, classifications are required to “summarize” all the groups as a whole for an approximate understanding of what contact with these groups for the agent (and whether the agent should generally interact with certain groups) entails. The following classifications of groups are distinguished:
Classification's name:Friendly group. Class:Safe. Short description:A friendly group is a group that is allied to the EOS (or represents a strategic benefit to our organization). As a rule, such groups act as allies in the supply, and also as combat allies in support of military resources (ships and people in this case). The behavior of these groups is predictable and controlled by simple manipulations (by their trust).
As a rule, friendly groups are poorly monitored by the EOS due to the fact that they are open to the eyes of the EOS and are not dangerous in the near future. However, caution does not interfere. EOS's members can contact with these groups, actively negotiate (without violating the Charter of the EOS), and provide support as soon as possible. Of course, the EOS hopes that these same groups will provide a reciprocal service in the future. Friendly groups do not know about the existence of the EOS (trust is also not a reason for violation of the charter). Recruiting people from friendly groups is not excluded (attention - only with observateur's permission).
The exception to this situation is the government of the Gallic Republic (former The Council) - the EOS are subordinate to them as their creators. The only option when the EOS will become "on their own" is "fall scenarios".
Friendly Group short information Wrote:If the interaction with the group entails a positive reaction from the group and further cooperation, then most likely it is a friendly group.
Classification's name:Unknown group. Class:Depends on the group. Short description:Unknown groups are groups to which the EOS policy is vague and actively changing depending on the situation. These groups can carry unpredictable actions, and therefore must be constantly monitored on the Gallic territory or outside it (the latter depends on the order of the observateur).
Due to the unpredictability of behavior, EOS members are allowed to come into contact with these groups only under certain circumstances that are not harmful to the EOS members (without violating the EOS charter). Any attempts to improve relations are encouraged to a limited extent (information about groups will indicate exactly with whom relations should develop and with whom not - keep an eye on the network). It is not ruled out the use of EOS “scouts” in the organization structure to more accurately identify the group’s intentions.
In most cases, groupings are manipulated through misinformation from third sources or by bribery (in the case of mercenaries).
Unknown Group short information Wrote:If, when interacting with a group, it is impossible to predict further consequences, then this group is probably unknown.
Classification's name:Hostile group. Class:Dangerous. Short description:Hostile groups - based on the name, those groups that pose a danger to the EOS and Gallia as a whole and must be completely isolated from being in Gallic's space. As a rule, members of these groups are hostile to Gallia, so their destruction is natural.
EOS's members are forbidden to make contact with these groups, neglecting negotiations in favor of causing maximum harm. Any combat effectiveness against groups of this classification is encouraged. Policies for such groups can only be changed by order of an observateur. It is permitted to strike hostile groups with unknowns, as well as to strike hostile groups among themselves. If it is required to “create” a conflict between hostile and allied groups for EOS, then such plans should be agreed with the observateur.
Along with the above methods of fighting, the common weapon is espionage, propaganda against these groups, and so on. Captives of these groups must be questioned, and then destroyed.
Hostile Group short information Wrote:If interacting with a group has devastating consequences, then this is definitely a hostile group.
Classification's name:Special group. Class:Unknown. Short description:Special groups - groups that are not defined by the above classifications and act, as a rule, as a single organism. The classification of “special groups” can be combined with other groups, thereby revealing the nature of the group and, at the same time, explaining its intentions.
Due to the fact that the group is a single organism, these groups must be isolated from Gallic's space until their nature and real intentions are established. EOS members are prohibited from making contact with these groups (with some exceptions), neglecting negotiations in favor of the destruction of members of these groups for their further study (both biological and technological).
Sometimes alien superpowers can be added to special groups (if they are discovered as such). In this case, the EOS must wait until the negotiations of the Gallic government with these states are completed.
Special Group short information Wrote:If the interaction with a group member is an interaction with the entire group, then this is probably a special group.
List of special groups:
Nomads.
Gammu AI.
Infected people.
Notice (1):The transition of a group from classification to classification is carried out only through an observateur. If he is not there, the commissaires do it. In the absence of both of these - see "fall scenarios". Notice (2):Since the observateur is involved in the issuance of changes about the policy in relation to a particular group, in the absence of him the commissaires should deal with this. In the absence of both of these - see "fall scenarios". Notice (3):Any change in policy to a particular group will be reported.
