"Hi there, Heath Jordanson, freelance journalist. I've just recently come from Shikoku where I met Lord Moka. He seems to dispute some of the things you have said,

I just recently interviewed him and it appears he doesn't agree so some of your statements."

Heath plays back the interview for the Hackers only to hear.

Moka Interview

Heath Jordanson just disembarked from the civilian passenger shuttle and made his way down to the casino level of the Golden Dragon. He was on a holiday away from the busy life he lead as a freelance journalist. As he entered the room, he noticed an article that normally wouldn't warrant his attention but as he was waiting on his drink, he decided to read it through. It was an uninteresting propaganda article produced about some self acclaimed Lane Hacker and discussed the turmoil in the Liberty underworld. Nothing noteworthy and certainly nothing he was interested in until he heard a name out loud that he just read of. Moka.

Realizing he was within mere feet of the most notorious Liberty Rogue know to date, he decided that having an interview with him would ultimately make his career. He approached the tall and bulky man standing center of a small group of people, all busy doing what ever they were doing. He stepped forward and went to call out Moka's name when he was grabbed by the shoulder by an ugly looking individual who asked him what he wanted. Heath mentioned he just read an article speculating that Moka was ousted from the Rogues by a Unioner cell looking to vie control of the Liberty blackmarket away from the Lane Hackers.

Moka over heard the small discussion and demanded that Heath be brought to him. Awestruck and eager for his career making interview, all fear had subsided and he blurted out, initiating the impromptu interview.


Heath "Lord Moka, right?"

Lord Moka "Yes, you are?"

Heath "Heath Jordanson, freelance journalist. May I ask you about the Hackers article they just released?"

Lord Moka "What article?"

Heath hands over a datapad and shows the article to Moka who power reads through it and belches out a mocking laugh

Lord Moka "So the Hackers think the Unioners were behind my leaving. My God, I didn't know my leaving was worthy of propaganda! No, the Unioners had no take in my leaving. I was over the uselessness of the heads I had selected and they became power hungry and felt the could do a better job. I had an argument with one of them and got pretty angry, so I went to go for some space and when I came back, they had locked me and my loyalists out of every Rogue station."

Heath "So you're denying what the Hackers are saying?" - a surprised look on his face

Lord Moka "Entirely, the Hackers deal in cloaks and daggers, misinformation and propaganda. They are probably just using my status as a means to justify their purging of the weak Rogue leadership and claiming the Liberty underworld for themselves."

Heath "So are you going to go back to Liberty to take control?"

Lord Moka "Oh hell no, that place is so ***** up that even death doesn't mean the end of a person. I have outgrown Liberty, there is nothing that I can't get away with there and the worth of the hassle is simply way too low"

Heath "So what are your thoughts on the current Liberty Rogue leadership?"

Lord Moka "Do I need to be politically correct?"

Heath - chuckles before replying "No, say what you mean"

Lord Moka "Those dickheads couldn't organize a party in a brewery, let alone a gang of thieves. That Amy Hawthorne is as dense as two short planks and Hemlocke is about as useful as tits on a bull. Those muppets haven't a ***** show in hell of doing anything to stop the Hackers and in my honest opinion the Liberty Rogues are now just the laughing stock of Liberty."

Heath "Ok, where too from here then?"

Lord Moka - He pauses a moment, looks at the bar then looks back at Heath "I think I am going to continue to what ever the ***** I want. And that no longer is this interview. Who did you say you worked for again?"

Heath "Myself, I am a freelance journalist. I'll likely sell this story to the Rogues"

Lord Moka "The ***** you will, you'll use a broadcast array in Pennsylvania I have access too and spout what you just learned out to the wider community. Or I'll be finding you."

Heath - suddenly taken aback by the veiled threat nodded in agreeance and left for Pennsylvania on the same shuttle he arrived on in fear of Moka's threat.

"My first question for you is this; where too from here?"

I called it a year ago when Corin Frei defeated the Battlegroup Auxesia. He pretends to be weak while he is far more powerful and cunning!

Frei, controlling Rogues? Are you thinkin' I'm buyin' this *****? Have you seen this man? He is literally a walking corpse, I ain't even sure he can control his piss stream. Some of us, rogues, don't like when Unioners go in our turf, but personally for me they were the best to tag along and compete in drinking contests.

Darn, I do remember when Radio Free Liberty was the only one true source for information in Republic and now you are tryin' to tell me this crap? Whoever is in charge now, he can go and smash his head against the wall, till he is buckin' dead.

Ha! I knew it! Frei seems to be an old, tired man when instead he's far more powerful and connected than we would imagine! And to further add, the Rogues were seen by yours truly while dealing with said Unioners, likely in Corin Frei's stead!

Wouldn't be a surprise if he has men inside the Rheinland government as well. Maybe he's got people and connection even on other governing bodies...
