My name is Helmut Weinstein. I am the director the 'Corporate Security' division of ALG, sometimes known as Division 5 or Division V. My division conducts sensitive diplomacy and intelligence operations for our company, and I must admit we may have been lax in our duties in regards to the post-war situation in the previous Kingdom of Gallia.
I seek to rectify this, and to forge new ties out of a difficult situation. My basic understanding is that a de facto independent state with at the very least, heavy involvement from the various Corse syndicates has established itself in southern Gallia.
ALG has been experiencing a series of harsh setbacks, from the inability of the treaty between the Independent Miners Guild and the Kingdom of Bretonia to include the company in their peace settlement, to the currently ongoing Rheinland civil war in which we must realistically expect to lose very nearly all of our economic ties in the house.

In times past, we have had cautiously productive relations with the Corse syndicates, a handful of common fights against the Outcasts and some minor business deals, and we must now seek business to account for our other losses. I have heard that there is a strong demand for salvage from the conflicts between our parent house and Liberty within your space, and we could be shifting more of our capacity towards its export, if there is a general interest, and potentially work on a more substantial relationship.

Let’s say that Minarchy’s governance, this independent state you were mentioning, share the same values and visions than Corses right? And their ears are… very sensitive to the piece of advices we give, you understand? Anyway just keep in mind that it is better to deal with Corses directly within Southern Gallia. The troubles you are experiencing seem indeed quite concerning for a company of your size. With this instability in Rheinland systems, I guess to have to review your zone of operations don’t you? I admire the swiftness of your response.
It is only natural that you would find yourself in disagreement with my simple analysis of the situation since as I mentioned, my intelligence contacts have been struggling to get a comprehensive picture of the current situation. I am not fond of being in a situation in which I lack sufficient background knowledge, but I'm never afraid to admit it when I find myself in such.

That you received and responded to this transmission so rapidly however speaks a great deal in itself, in my opinion. I will try to address your question in basic terms, though I'm not an engineer and I imagine you aren't either.
For a long time, the great smelters in Gallia have provided us with a high demand for scrap materials, as the regrettable conflicts in our houses seem to have produced a lot more of it than yours did domestically. It has been and continues to be good business, but there is now a great excess of very recent wastage from the conflict between the now-former Federal Republic of Rheinland and the Republic of Liberty, as well as various other parties engaged in the conflict or wasted by other circumstance in the border worlds.
I am speaking of hull segments, damaged weaponry, in some cases nearly entirely intact ships which lost life support, of relatively recent manufacture. To pry human remains frozen to a fighter's controls is something of an unpleasantry, but we can perform that step for a modest additional fee.
Of course, given the unpleasant historical circumstances, I imagine there is a similar wealth of resources to be found through the Taus and Bretonia, but there's a different overlap of materials and parts which I imagine, would become more relevant as trade relations pick up between the houses.

It may be best to simply send over a sample shipment, perhaps you could designate a storage facility on what I understand you call Marsiglia?

I'm rather inclined to a personal conversation as well, if we can fit it into our schedules. I sense great potential here, and I would like to hear greater detail about the political situation, as perhaps you may of ours. I have not visited your grand house since the fall of the Royaume, and it may do my old lungs a favor.

I'm pleased to hear of your interests, and we worked rapidly to ready a small sample package, which I've decided to accompany on its trip north, on my preferred personal transport, the freighter Dachstein. It's not a large vessel, but you can consider this something of a catalogue.
As you expressed interest, we've sorted out a number of modern weaponry of Liberty manufacture: several fully functional complete models of the "Vengeance" laser cannon, one mildly damaged "Magma Hammer" plasma cannon, taken from fighter wreckages, as well as a large section of a destroyed "Defiant" class gunboat, including several LGT-8d "Bandit" class turrets with only moderate concussive damage.
Your experts will have to make judgment on what you'll be most interested in, but we've collected a fine selection and have landed on Marsiglia. soaking up the local culture and seafood.
Our flight was quiet; while the most common threat to us in the region are the Outcasts, an individual freighter didn't attract any undue attention. Please let us know where we can leave our delivery.

We are not fond of new faces in our home system you see, next time it would be better to knock on the door first. Anyway, this is quite a sample Signore Weinstein, the diversity of the salvages you’re offering will fill some timetables around here. Our laboratories wish to keep them all. Their main priorities will be studied carefully so that we can refine our future demands. Even if we’re talking of samples, we wish to compensate expenses covered to bring them here.
