Commandant Vailiant,
Our reappearance in Tau-31 after what feels like an era has rustled a few feathers it seems, and not just the Enclave.
We received a rather bizarre threat from a colorful character claiming to be in charge of the Outcasts.
The communication did not include a picture of the individual, but after consulting some amongst the intelligence community they provided an approximate interpretation of what the individual looks based on previous communications and social media presence, I will share what they came up with;
I expressed my doubts about the quality of the intel, but they were certain it was roughly what the individual looked like. In the past had the displeasure of interacting with the Outcasts, and needless to say they tend to change leadership faster than my men drink through tea shipments.
In times past, they seemed to hate you more than they hated us, likely by virtue of us having no presence in Tau and stepping on their feet, and they have left us alone. But make no mistake, I consider their existence to be a stain on the galaxy, and an unnatural thing, almost not human. They are only marginally better than the Enclave for their disregard for the sanctity of human life.
Not to labor the point.
Our entry into Tau-31 will bring us into conflict with these drug barons, and I hope we can enjoy cooperation in stamping them out, hopefully when you are capable of reinforcing the Tau region following the pacification of Cologne.
Regards,
Admiral John Redmond

Admiral John Redmond,
A large holographic image of Vaillant sitting on his command chair appeared. We could see the old Kingdom of Gallia emblem on the back of the chair as it was not facing the screen. Suddenly, the chair turned in a fast move towards the luminous screen showing up a determined Vaillant holding a glass of wine in his right hand.
I am glad to hear that we share a common vision of this Outcasts. You remarkably described them and their pathetic life which boils down in sniffing their Cardamine drug.
I guess your intel tried his best to give you the best interpretation as possible of what the leader of the Outcasts look like. This is precious information, and I may share this with out Intel branch.
On the Labor point, you will be glad to hear that we have dispatched some of our avalaible forces in the system of Omicron Tau in order to fight these barons drug. Our operations have been quite successful so far, with sometimes impressive results. Some of our elite squadrons even reached their natal system.
Rest assured that we are doing our maximum to deal with them.
Sincèrement
Vaillant greeted with a gesture of the head while the holographic image was disappearing.
Marine Nationale Gauloise, Commandant Pierre Vaillant.
