I had and still have pobs. Few of them were sieged but we managed to defend it without whining about "reee, make battleships destructible" or "reee, add rules to protect pobs from any siege". Maybe the problem is not sieges but pobs plugin itself? The only good thought came from LaWey in one of your 100500 threads, full of tears.

This is my 1st POB thread, it's flooding with bile, not tears.
The suggestion is to force attackers to use POBs, making them vulnerable to the very treatment they offer. Making it more similar to regular PvP.
To kill a ship, you need a ship. To kill a base, you need a base. Simple as that.
We already have siege turrets that people have invested into. They are already very specific and expensive guns that only exist to damage pobs. Im not supporting actual dev removal of platforms or pobs for the same exact reason. People have invested into them.
I believe that lets say 20 people want pob gone, they should have ability to remove it, if coordinated and its being an effort. You portray it like two guys can remove them for 30 mins with no effort.
ah a 1000th pob thread. People cant complain about the pobs going boom when there was fuck all defense. The end.

I understand the number of players and coordination involved. That's why maintaining and defending a siege factory shouldn't be a problem, and would offer unique RP and PvP opportunities for you and your opponents, as well as remove any base for claims of "injustice" or "incomparable efforts".
Edit: Defenders are weak? Of course! But with the current setting, there's no way for you to really demonstrate that, because the rules are asymmetrical. So they whine and complain.

Sieges are already expensive, effort required. POBs in Liberty are mostly not siegable by unlawfuls as it is. Core 4 and core 5 too. Sieging balance is not broken. Its defender playerbase issue.

It's a different kind of effort, some might say. Gathering ships for a raid or shooting a POB vs setting it up and supplying.
I would much more enjoy the former, but the attacking side is completely invulnerable in terms of losing assets.
Your opponents could score more online hours if they had an extra opportunity to counter-attack in the same fashion you do.

They respawn in an hour and then it becomes too late xD. That's why I suggest the siege factories, which are destructible, and the defenders can actually do something meaningful during their prime hours, too.

You invest something into something with the healthbar yes.
If you are mining yourself full 5k of ore, flying 5 systems and encountering pirate who demands to drop cargo, its also different kind of effort. Game is risy otherwise it will lose all interest to everyone.
