I just stumbled across the audio files for the final conversation at the end of the SP campaign, and I found some interesting sound files, you can listen to them yourself by going to your FL folder then DATA>AUDI>DIALOGUE>MISSION 13 and playing them in order.

It mentions that the Nomads DO exist in other parts of the universe, and from this we can determine that these new Nomads that we have in Sirius are actually from other sectors, in addition Herr Von Claussen suggests that since the Hypergate is open we could travel to their arias of space and take the fight to them.

You have to admit that that would be an interesting proposition, sutch as making the Hypergate open and allowing ships to jump to some far off system that is loaded with ridiculous amounts of Nomads, and one or two Order capships guarding the entrance of said Hypergate.

Being able to travel to another sector to fight the Nomads again would be a great idea, and this would give us justification for it. Nice find! I can't believe Microsoft cut this out!

Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams
Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction
Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid
Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space
Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits

Liberty and Nomad Backstory, Very interesting - read it!

Sounds like they wanted to make a longer SP game or even make a transition to FL2 or an expansion. Gonna listen to it now

Dammit... This is gonna be the extended intro debate all over again. I'd assume that it wasn't included for a reason, regardless of what the reason was, and we should base the cannon on the things that were included. Not vague and obscure hints or unpublished material.

The Order said they would watch over the gate, and do you see any Order NPCs near where the gate was located?

Infact it seems to me the omitted it because they didn't make the ending animation long enought and were to lazy to expand it.
