Space monitoring installations have detected unusual energy spikes in the Zurich and Tohoku systems. The energy signatures seem to match chaotic, temporary spatial anomalies known as jump holes.
Pilots are advised to stay away from these space anomalies due to their chaotic nature, as entering them may result in your ship being relocated to unknown, uncharted areas of space with no way of return.
There are two confirmed locations of these anomalies: one in the shadow of the volcanic moon Ramsen and one at the edge of the Izu Planetary Fragment field.
Rule notes:
All IDs with ZOI in Zurich and Tohoku also have ZOI in the connected unknown systems.
The following IDs have the additional below engagement rights and ID lines within connected unknown systems:
Samura ID
Kishiro ID
GMG ID
DHC ID
Kruger ID
ALG ID
GMS ID
EFL ID
*Includes all official versions of the above IDs.
- May demand credits or cargo from non-allied corporate faction ships and destroy them if they refuse to comply.
- May demand non-allied corporate faction ships to vacate the system and destroy them if they refuse to comply.
- May treat all unlawful ships as combat targets, including transports.
The event has been updated as has the infocard. The smallest miners do receive the largest bonus, but as with other fields, other ships "can" mine, but less efficiently. The ore currently sells in the Taus.
Full collapse of the unstable rift in Tohoku has been confirmed. The Zurich anomaly is expected to follow suit soon but may remain stable for a short time.
