Trish took a small sip out of her cup. "Not really. I already did it once, when the Core was going downhill. I came back eventually, but now... I think it was the last time I wielded the Core insignia on my uniform." She took a cookie and dipped it into her cup, taking a small bite off of it. "Speaking of, how are things back in the Edge Worlds? I haven't been there in weeks."

Sun looks up at her putting her mug down "Ah, does Core have a retirement package of some type?" she says with a small smile, eating more of the cookie "Ah- yes the edge worlds are quiet for once, and I suppose that is good news but I have worry about our new Liberty friends at our borders, house governments can be, aggressive at times." she says as she brings up the mug to sip more of the tea "But no news is good news, Theta is quiet and well, lonely sometimes" she says with a brief smile.
"The Core is a corporation, not some kind of agency which the only way you can leave is death. No, they are more civilized. " She took another sip out of her cup. "But I wonder what could've happened if I acted differently. I don't have any regrets about how I handled things, but I wonder if there was another way." She stared blankly at the table for a moment, as if diving deeply into her thoughts. "I'd like to think that there's the universe where the things are a bit... Different."

Sun looks at her and stares with her compassionate stare, she takes a sip of her cup dipping a cookie in it "You worry too much, one should accept the path that they have been set on. The rivers of life can be treacherous but, I believe you have strength to travel along them." she says then takes a bit of her cookie.
"Oh, I'm not worrying. I just love to imagine things, after all, it's... Inspiring. Since I'm retired, I've been trying to find something new to do. Training the imagination, you know." She made an another sip out of her cup. "But enough about me. What were you up to recently? It's been quite a while since we talked."

Sun thinks on the question, she does her small peaceful smile "Theta has been quiet, I worry about Liberty all the time but I am always optimistic about Theta, I planted new seeds at the Buddhist Temple on Pygar and, I have been out of the Omicrons. I think a part of me missed my small beginnings of just trading in my robust Serenity." she comments with a small chuckle "I miss the simplicity of it, the beauty of systems I saw and the conversations that help me on my path." she says.
Trish looked at Sun with a soft smile. It was highly untypical for her, at least for those who knew or talked to her."You don't look like you're tired of it, though." She dipped her cookie into a cup. "I've never been to Pygar, actually. And I think I've spent about three days just in open space, in my bomber, after I retired. Just flying around and watching the stars. When you're working in the open space, seeing the same nebulas, constellations and stars, you stop paying any kind of attention to all of it. " She put a cookie back on a plate and leaned back. "But when you have free time, when you realize that such a miracle as space travel is something we've achieved, something that we've made a mundane part of our everyday life... You get to enjoy the scenery. The stars, the ships passing by, all of it suddenly becomes surprisingly pleasing."

Sun puts her tea down after finishing it, eating the rest of her cookie "Tired? Goodness no, but I am- hm, I regret to say it can be dull at times, but I relish in it, doing my position as best as one can. I achieved it through, sheer-commitment. I have been admin at Freeport 9 for one year, one must find there own ways to avoid boredom" she says with a smile, then listens to Trish talk of Pygar "Pygar is a harsh-place, but from harshness you can find beauty, and the underground places have such beauty" she pauses and listens to Trish some more, doing a wide smile "We do not appreciate what we have accomplished, we do not appreciate the beauty of things when you are on the job. I like watching the ships pass by, I like painting them and the systems I go through, so that I can preserve the beauty in art and in my mind when I look upon that art" she states, finishing off her cookie.
She finishes her tea and puts a cup with a plate on the tray."It's weird though. It's almost mundane as going to the shop. Hyperspace travel, Trade Lanes... People barely pay attention to that. But memorizing, I'd rather enjoy the sights as much as possible, so that they stuck in my memory forever, instead of materializing them. It's a bizarre experience, trying to pay attention to something so... casual. But I found it working."

Sun puts her hands together in thought as she listens to Trish speak of space and exploration "You should take up painting, or another hobby, to put those memories on something" she says with a smile "But I do know what you mean, I to try to remember the places I have been".
