"It's hard, you know. After all, I've been only proficient in one art - the art of war. I tried drawing, the results were... - she sighed, - Atrocious. But there's room to grow, at least. I tried writing music and, i think, it works well for me." She noticed that both cups were empty. "More tea?"

Sun looks at her empty cup and back up to Trish with a smile "Yes, thankyou" she says before continuing "I've been trying to teach myself other languages as of late, many visit Freeports and knowing there language would give a good deal of respect in my eyes." she says her serene smile and thought.
"Foreign languages are a useful knowledge, especially in Rheinland. " She said as she took both cups and went to the kitchen. Instant water boiler still had enough in it. Trish also didn't notice how she left a bottle of milk on the bar counter, swiftly pouring some into her cup and putting it back in the fridge. A box of sugar was still there, yet she left it where it was after she dropped a cube of sugar into Sun's cup. Carrying both cups carefully, she came back to the table and placed both of them on the plates. "Although it's weird, considering that we've been in space for centuries now and that we all mainly speak english. Maybe some people feel like going back to their roots." She shrugged as she took a sip out of her cup. The tea was more concentrated this time and she barely managed to hold her face from making a grimace, although her eyes kind of gave it away. "The tea is more concentrated, you might want to add another cube in it." She said as she put a cup back on a plate and tossed some sugar in, slowly swirling it with a spoon.

Sun looks down at the concentrated tea, she sips it briefly before nodding towards her "It is fine" seems she's used to strong-tasting tea. She muses on her words a little bit before responding "We can only learn from the past so that we may learn the future" she says with a pleasant smile "I feel the more we come from our origins, the more we are curious of them. Earth, cultures, countries and the wars of course, my religion is older then Sirius Colonization, yet it is still practised. We hold on to what was, even after it is long gone" she muses.
"Perhaps", - she shrugged, - "Yet again, speaking about such things... It's pretty new to me. It feels like something very alien, yet very close, almost as if I didn't live the life as I could or should have. But what happened - happened. " She pondered for a moment and then looked back at Sun with a brief smile. "You should visit the Elysium one day. It has all sorts of entertainment. Restaurants, pools, meditation chambers... We even have a holographic opera. I also think you know Julius, a captain who decided to stay with me after I left the Core." She dipped a cookie into her cup and took a small bite. Chocolate chips made the tea taste less tender, although now it was too sweet for her own taste. (Damn it, it's way harder to make stuff by yourself when you had someone else preparing it for you for your entire life. Without telling you how.)

Sun smiles and chuckles lightly at Trish, enjoying the conversation. She raises a eyebrow at the mention of Elysium "Elysium? Your ship of course, heh, I may it does sound exciting and the mention of holographic operas is very intriguing" she says before continuing "And yes, Julius, he seems a kind soul" she states with a small smile, eating some of the chocolate chip cookies.
"I'm not a biggest fan of discussing people behind their backs, yet I can't say anything bad about him." She put the cookie on a plate and leaned back, smiling softly. "Not only he's an excellent captain, he's also a philosopher down to the bone, and I have to admit, his views have kind of grown up on me. Not only he's kind, he's also very open to people if they need help, much like you. We had a few heated discussions about things, but he always seemed so... Balanced and understanding. And even if he doesn't like taking credit for his work as a mentor, I can only say that I'm the way I am right now thanks to him."

Sun listens to her with her friendly serene smile "I remember some of our conversations, someone with that view must of had a difficult time within Core" she pauses looking up at her "But it is good that you have friendships such as these, you should cherish them to your heart, keep them always in your mind".
'The Core isn't all about being savage mercenaries. Wise and strategic people like him are actually welcome as advisors, analysts, tacticians, managers, directors... At least they were, for that very brief time period when I lead it... Bu-u-u-ut he chose being my personal chauffeur instead of wealth that would bind him to the office at Durban." She looked around. The house interior looked just as she wanted it, yet it wasn't the only detail to the place she called "home". "Mind if we take a brief walk outside? There's something I'd like to show you, something I've been working on for quite a while."

Sun listens intently, leaning on one hand with a smile "If I did not know better I would say you had a crush on Julius" she says with a small chuckle before beaming with excitement at the prospect of exciting the room to the outside "Oh? Well, I do not mind, infact I am excited at this suggestion" she says with a excited grin.
