He listens to the man's response and drops his cigarette into the nearby ashtray.
"Rule number three. Don't believe what you're told. Double check. " He walks to the agent who is now sitting in a chair and hands him the datapad.
"You're welcome to get more details off of him. On the other hand, Fort Bush is not that big so finding our guy should not be that hard. Speaking of wich let's not warn the LPI about this, yet. We can't outrule the possibility of our target being an LPI mole. We don't want our target to get coldfeet and go awol."
Alright then, i'll gladly take a team and head to Fort Bush to start looking for something of interest.
Drops his cigarette into the same ashtray.
I propose that whatever we have discussed so far stays between us only, do not trust anyone else. We do not have enough information to say that he isn't around us either. Aside from that, if i come back empty handed from Fort Bush, do i get to be violent with that guy?
Smirks and looks at the suspect through the one way mirror, still sitting in the interrogation room fidgeting whilst looking around nervously.
"Maybe you will. But I'd advise taking a team there is not good. I'd suggest going there with as little numbers as possible. What would you think if suddendly a whole bunch of federal agents appeared and started sniffing arround. Go there alone. Maybe another agent to back you up. That will not raise any suspicion." He walks back to the window again. and stares into the room.
"While you're out there having fun trying to find a needle in a haystack. I'll inform the eggheads about theese artifacts. I don't want anyone getting close to them without R&D declaring it safe The last thing i want is someone getting mindraped by some nomad toy that was turned on by accident. Inform if you find out something on Fort Bush. And do not arrest the guy if you find him. Simply watch him and follow him 24/7."
Michael cracks up laughing at how the agent underestimated him.
You don't have to worry about the numbers and i didn't say that i was going to brutally start checking everyone there, you actually thought i'd go there fully dressed and with a whole team running around looking for one guy? On the other hand if things start to get ugly down on the station then i just might have to get a whole group of navy personnel to raid the place.
Prepares to leave and starts walking towards the door.
I'll be checking in once in awhile and when i find some notable things you guys can feast on back here. Once i manage to find the guy though, will be sure to follow him around to check for other possible moles or contacts he has. Remember watch yourself, trust no one and tell no one about this. Now time to get moving, also beware of those artifacts they tend to be a little too insistent on sharing their hidden secrets with unguarded minds, will also be sure to have fun with the guy once i find him before sending him your way, well then see you soon bud.
He watched as Michael left the room closing the door behind him. "If only you knew who i was agent." He said quietly to himself while he took another look through the window on the smuggler. He sighed before turning towards the door. "Off to inform the eggheads i guess." He made his way to it and quickly opened it and left the room. On the corridor he instructed a pair of agents to keep the interrorgation room's occupant secured for now. Making his way to the main office area he walked through towards the room only a select few had access to. Swiping his ID card and going through the rest of the tedious security protocolls the door finally opened and he quickly walked in. Inside the dimly lit room there was a giant screen and before it multiple rows of chairs. It looked like a room designed for lectures. Two somewhat longer computer terminals with smaller screens on each side and multiple agents working. Making his way to one of the agents who was sitting at one of the terminals he poked him on the back.
"Agent, establish a secure connection with Chimera and get me Sanjo Jiraki on the line." He said with a firm voice.
The agent repplied with a quick "Yes sir!" before turning back to his terminal and pushing buttons. Soon he turned back signalling the connection was established and the great screen switched to displaying the video feed.
A tall Kusaran man shows up on the terminal. He has goggles on, a machine gauntlet on his right arm, and a black sleeve on his left. He looks incredibly tired and has a few scorch marks across his face.
Isaac! Get the plasma extinguisher! Oh, Wolverine. What weird tech do you have for me this time?
"Christmass is a bit early this year. I need your team to isolate about 4000 artifacts. But keep your hands off of them for now as they are still evidence in an investigation. Just make sure your labs aboard Chimera are ready to recieve them once you get the green light. Also just because i'm really in the mood and because i don't want to hear a bunch of lectures about "propper security measures" by goddamn blue collar idiots, you are allowed to do a preliminary check on them for dangers but nothing too fancy. Just simply make sure they are not gonna explode or make us walking nomad loving carpets or something."
He sighed and turned towards the technician to signal him to terminate the transmission but as quick as he did that, he turned back towards the screen. "Oh i almost forgot. The goods await you on the Houston Field office. And i think that is all. Good day Sanjo. Wolverine out."
With his last sentence finished he turned back towards the technician and raised his hand and signaled him to cut the transmission.
Officer Fred Robinson of the LPI makes his way to his usual Sunbucks Coffee and Donuts shop on Fort Bush, unaware that he is being followed. He grins, his usual charming smile.
"Ah, the same order for you? 15 boxes?", the clerk asks.
"Yes! The eh... boys love their donuts, haha," Fred replies.
He retrieves his sugary treats and coffee jugs and makes his way to his trooper ship. He loads the donuts and coffee into his cargo hold before hopping into the cockpit. He launches from Fort Bush toward Planet Manhattan, unaware that an LIA agent is stalking him.
Manhattan Center is abuzz with law enforcement. "Ah, a busy day in New York, hah!" Fred says in local comms. But most are busy chatting about other things to pay any attention.
Fred signals to dock with the docking ring, his ship plummets down to the planet. He looks around and finds his usual shady part of the docking bay. He swings his ship down and lands abruptly. His ship lurches to a stop. He quickly unfastens his belts and hops out, running to his cargo bay. The hatch opens and he grabs the goods.
He 'secretly' makes his way to the dark side of the cargo ramp where he will meet his associate, "Shark" Sullivan. Shark likes to get his donuts in person to ensure nobody touches them. Fred enters the warehouse and maneuvers around the preset maze of boxes and crates, eventually finding Shark and a few of his henchmen in the middle of the warehouse.
"Ah, here's the good stuff. And the patrol routes for this week?" Shark asks.
"Bottom box, boss. Everything should be in there," Fred replies.
"Ah, good. We'll... wait... what's that?" Shark asks as he points his finger.
"Shit, he's been followed, boss!" one of the henchmen yell.
A shootout ensues.
Fred Robinson escapes the fray and exits the warehouse. He rushes to his ship while hearing orders to freeze and halt. By a miracle, Fred makes it to his ship and launches into space before the ship has time to properly warm up or calibrate.
Fred frantically slaps exit codes into his computer to leave the planet's atmosphere. The gates of the ring open when Fred comes up with a cunning idea.
"Help, help! This madman is after me!" Fred yells into his comms. But the agent is fast on his heels, his ship expertly maneuvers behind him.
Despite the hails to cut his engines and stop, Fred Robinson continues to try and escape, his ship working at only half power since he performed a quick turn-on.
"Weapons hot!" the agent yells in his comms. Fred's next vision is of a white and yellow light. His ship is ripped apart, the cacoon of his cockpit is all that remains. A beam latches ahold of his pod, drawing him in to the cargo bay of the agent's ship.
"Oh no, no no! I am dead!" Fred yells as he smacks at his cockpit, frantically trying to escape his pod. But the pod is locked shut to prevent accidental openings in the middle of space. Fred is properly detained!

Michael waiting outside Fort Bush for quite some time, spots an LPI ship entering the area and requesting a dock onto the station.
Huh, well seems like that would be it, time to begin.
He waits for the Officer to dock first before requesting to dock himself. He radio's to the team.
Team, i need you to lock down all trade lanes leading to Fort Bush on the opposite end. We're not risking a potential suspect escaping.
Upon docking with the station he spots the officer leaving the hangar bays. Michael quickly dismounts himself from his ship and proceeds to stalk the man. After a few minutes of following him, they approach a Sunbucks shop which the suspect is thought to have loved the donuts being sold there. While the Officer went into the shop, Michael waited in the area for the man to finish his purchase. The Officer then walks out with stacks upon stacks of donuts, too many for a normal man. Michael has already confirmed that he is the mole. He radios once again to his team.
All agents, proceed to lock all trade lanes on the other side of Fort Bush. We got our guy and hes about to leave the station. Suspects in a 'Liberator' Liberty Light Fighter.
Clueless that Michael was following the man, he entered the hangar back to his ships again to store the huge amount of snacks he had. After he was done with his cargo hold, he then heads back into the ship and begins talking a screen. Guessing he could have been sending a transmission, Michael then slowly sneaks back into his ship and prepares to disembark from the station himself. As soon as the man left the station, the agent followed behind and carefully watched his next actions.
Shortly after the LPI ship begins to dock with the Manhattan trade lane, Michael follows and goes into the trade lane while contacting the team he has on Manhattan.
Ground team, suspect has been found and is probably going to meet someone on Manhattan. Wait for me before attempting to detain him, we need to find out who hes dealing with. All other units converge onto West Point and Fort Bush for now.
As they Michael reaches the Planets orbit, the communications channel started flooding with conversations by many other pilots from both Civilians and Navy personnel. He also spots the Battleship Akhetaten parked right next to Planet Manhattan, it was a rare sight to see the orbit so full of activity. The suspect initiated docking with the Manhattan ring and Michael immediately informs the ground team of it.
All units be on alert, suspect has docked with Manhattan and is confirmed meeting someone there. Ground team be prepared to spot his ship and follow him wherever he goes, the rest of you lock down lanes coming into Manhattan.
He goes ahead and dock with the Planet as well.
After sitting his ship in a hangar, he meets with one of the ground team members and is led to the location of the suspect's ship. Arriving at the hangar, Michael meets up with the other 4 officers and watches the suspect from afar.
So update me, What have you gathered so far?
After he landed, we made sure there was no one else around the area before following him here to this hangar. He m---
The Officer is interrupted by another team member.
Sir! He seems to be on the move, I suggest we start moving as well to not lose sight of him.
Cutting the talk short, they began to follow him into a creepy looking warehouse and silently navigating through the scattered shipments obstructing the pathway. They then hear a group of men talking and reach an area where they can identify the mysterious voices. Peering around the shelves of containers, Michael spots the suspect Officer having a friendly chat with another guy and surrounded by a group of henchmen. As the suspect Officer grabs a box capable of containing probable classified information to pass on, the guy he was talking to spots Michael and points towards him while saying something. The henchmen pulls out their holstered weapons, starting to take aim at Michael's direction.
mother******, we've been spotted, everyone return fire, do not shoot the unarmed guy or the suspect officer. Take out those armed and detain the rest, leave the officer to me.
The echoing sounds of guns firing begin to fill the warehouse and Michael chases the suspect Officer back to the hangar where the ship is parked. The suspect manages to get into his ship and takes off into the orbit while Michael barely manages to catch up. Although the suspect got into space, Michael trailed behind and demanded him to cut his engines.
Officer Fred, you are under arrest, i demand you cut your engines and prepare to be taken in. Else if you would like the harder way by forcing your escape pod into space?
The suspect begins to yell into local comms as to hopefully get the nearby vessels to stop the agent. Although questioned by the 46th and 5th vessels as to what he was doing to an LPI Officer, he wanted to make sure he could not run away in the midst of chaos.
You leave me no choice then, Opening fire.
The agents ship begins to line up with the suspects direction. Within seconds, bright rays of red and blue began to hit the suspect, dealing extensive damage to the ship and eventually causing him to be forced into an escape pod from his ship's automatic systems. With the suspect's ship blown up and escape pod in Michael's cargo hold, all the agent could say to the watching vessels was that he was on a classified operation. He sets course away from the commotion and sends a transmission.
*Ahem* Told you i would update you and boy do i have good news, now here's the thing. I just made plenty of noise outside of Planet Manhattan and i got this donut guy in the back of my cargo hold all sealed up in his escape pod. My team has 'Shark' guy detained on Manhattan as well, i'm sure they can interrogate him there. Unless you want to see him personally as well, but where do you want this stinkin sunbucks officer to be brought to?
L.I.A. Houston Field Office, Planet Houston, Texas System
He was enjoying a cigarette in the main office section when an agent walked up to him. The agent said that he has a call in MTAC from agent Gonzales. Turning arround he walked to the door and once again went through the tedious security procedures. As he walked into the room he signaled the technicians to get the transmission on the big screen.
"That was fast. How much noise did you make while arresting that guy?"
"You know what we'll talk about that later. Get him aboard Chimera. I'm sending you coordinates for the rendezvous. Don't be late. Wolverine out."
The transmission is quickly cut and the agent quickly turns arround and makes his way to the door before leaving however he turns arround to one of the technicians and tells them to inform the ground crew to prep his ship for departure.
