To whom it may concern,
My office was informed that the Rheinland Civil War officially ended yesterday and I have been given insight into a treaty that they have signed -- almost a constitution, in fact. One of the signatories is the current CEO of Daumann, Ian Gunn, who once used to be the CEO of BMM. I trust that it is now clear why I am writing to you about this and not to a branch of my government.
There are clauses in the Holstein Accords that I think should be more thoroughly defined and also two that I would interpret as potentially problematic for us. The clauses 2.1.3, 2.2, 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 mention some new government title called the Executor, which appears as if it is supposed to replace Rheinland's historic title of Chancellor. This warrants a clarification.
Further, onto the actual issue, clause 1.1 states that "[...] the secured space around Rugen Station in Omega 3 per the Rugen Accords" is Rheinland space. However, the Rugen Accords mention no such thing. They state that Rugen Station is the property of Daumann, not of Rheinland, and affirm that Bretonian law will apply aboard Rugen (clauses 1 and 1.3 of the Rugen Accords). The current Rheinland laws do not claim any of the prior, so this part of the Holstein Accords is an unfounded expansion.
The other worrying clause of the Holstein Accords is 3.1.7.1. It is about a military reconstruction programme. What interests me is firstly why Rheinland wants to continue strengthening its already powerful military, certainly more than powerful enough to deal with the temporary crisis in Cologne, and secondly, to what size. Our experts tell me that Rheinland already has comparable defensive capabilities to other Great Houses, so this "reconstruction programme" might actually be an arms race in disguise -- but with who? Combining this with the hopefully erroneous daring passage about Rugen hints to who Rheinland might be intending to race with. Whatever the case, I believe every one of us would like to know with what Rheinland intends to fund this programme, to assure ourselves whether these are truly serious intentions, or only a patriotic formula of words designed to please supporters. And of course, if Rheinland does have actual means for this, we would obviously also want to try to tap into wherever they have come from.
I have heard that you were satisfied with the recent Royal Charter and I am glad that my government could help, but now my government needs help from you. I believe that, as a collegial corporation with BMM, BMF maintains relations with Ian Gunn and would be able to discuss matters with him on a less formal level than our two governments. Coming to Rheinland directly and formally with these concerns might be interpreted unfavourably, but an informal conversation between two CEO-s would be free from this kind of scrutiny. This is why it would be patriotic if BMF spoke with Mr Gunn about the points that I have addressed. There is no reason why you should not address your grievances with the BDM too, though I question how helpful a Daumann CEO would be here.
I trust that, if all Bretonians pay heed to our common cause, we shall all find such a mutual relationship mutually beneficial in the end.

Greetings Prime Minister
First and foremost, let me say how pleased i am in seeing how close Bretonia Mining and Fabrication is becoming with the House and the Crown,
It was with great honor and humility that we received the Royal Charter bestowed uppon BMF by Queen Carina,
However, we do have and maintain our interests in omega 3, our miners extract the cobalt in that region and as such we have heavy economic interests to maintain in the area,
We vow to accomplish our task and develop those areas in a "cleaner" way than BMM did in the past, Leeds environmental issues as well as the working conditions didn't help popularity at such difficult times as the ones prior it its devastation. Lessons were learned and BMF will make sure to implement them appropriately in Planet Gaia development.
But down to the issues we need to attend this situation indeed,
Your eminence,
Articles 2.1.3, 2.2, 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 sound like an Empire is at the rise,
having into consideration the latest Bretonian History, id say "Executor" is the last thing a Bretonian citizen whants to ear that has as a neighbouring House Leader,
Terror is still in the eyes of many who cross our paths Sire...
The development of a even stronger military force is something we can only run after Prime Minister,
Best we can do is to try to boost our shipyards production and work force in the hope of maintain production at the highest possible level,
Maybe this way we keep them at bay...
Of course your assessment is correct minister, if there is a corporation involved in this programe that would be Dauman Heavy Construction,
Indeed BMF maintains a steady economical relationship with them, Mr, Ian Gunn is someone we all well know,
I will head to Planet New Berlin and try to setup a meeting with him to try and ascertain the new government intentions,
This "constitution" as you name it, sounds like a time bomb waiting to blow on our faces to me,
Regarding Rugen, well Minister what i can say is that activity seems pretty low, as the civil war developed at home our pilots report no activity around those parts we even thought the station was abandoned, nothing more than the usual maintenance crew were seen,
So again, if the Reinland new government would go to sutch point as to start conflicts from the very foundation this wouldnt be healthy for anyone, specialy for business as usual that is what corporations like BMF and DHC are all about,
Profit and economical growth can not be constantly hindered by such conflicts and this is something the great corporations need to have an eye in to so i think i will get Mr ian´s attention quite easily.
I will contact again with details that i can ascertain in such meeting Prime Minister,
With my best regards your eminence. Cpt. Dylan Hunt Bretonia Mining and Fabrication CEO
