I piarted two FP12 guys in a capital ship (Outcast). They said that's not allowed by the rules but I just double checked server rules and found no rule restrcting capship piracy. Even though I must be certain because I don't want to break rules so I'm asking you now:
Can capital ships pirate? (I was in a battlecruiser)
If they can't I'm willing to compensate those guys because I meant no harm (other than some cargo).
Wait hold on, i don't think piracy means destroying the cargo without asking for money or the cargo itself to sell. You just asked for it and destroyed it?
well yes they can ... isn't something that says that a capital ship can't engage one transport if he, the transport, don't have mounted one cruise disrupter?!
I asked for 2501 cargo from each transports (from 5000 cargo each that should be reasonable). What the pirate does with said cargo should be the pirate's business.
As for the cruise disruptor matter - If a transport has a CD mounted it's no longer a transport by combat rules. It's a combat ship and it can be engaged without issuing demands. It's just like a fighter. But still no clause on capships and piracy among the rules. If you can find any, please quote it here.
