Malta Hyperspace Starfleet is an organization that focuses on science and technology, to ensure Outcast dominion throughout all Sirius. Formed by intellectuals and warmongers, they pursue new research and knowledge to improve the spreading of Cardamine and the protection of their brethren. Considered themselves as more open-minded, they collaborate with anyone who provides assistance to the Outcasts and they do not hesitate to use the available resources and methods to achieve their goals.
This official faction ID is used by members of Malta Hyperspace Starfleet, who:
- Can attack ships carrying Artifacts, Sorted Artifacts, Xeno Relics, Stabiline, Synthetic Marijuana and Nox.
- Can demand Nomad Materials and Scientific Data.
Within Zone of Influence (Bretonia, Kusari, Liberty, Omicrons, Sigmas, Taus, Coronado, Cortez, Galileo, Inverness, Kepler, Languedoc, Lorraine, Magellan):
- Can attack Combat Ships.
- Can engage in piracy.
This is my first time ever commenting or giving feedback on any group going for Official'dom. Ever.
If I'm being brutally honest, with both myself and to HS>, I don't think I've ever had a bad or negative experience with them. They seem like a good group of players. I always enjoy the roleplay that -always- takes place before any sort of engagement with them. Then without fail, there is always a mutual exchange of kudos on the forums and /FM's in-game. Outcast factions have come and gone over the years and if there is one that I'd like to see stick around, it'd have to be you guys. Now, this is of course my own dealings when I'd faced them in space.
Like, a moment ago, in NY - They got what I can only describe as steamrolled by a mass counter-log of Liberty lawfuls. There's no negative comments from them after a loss, nor do they ever rub salt in the wound when they win. Very respectful players in my eyes and I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks so, but, we'll see what everyone else posts after me.
Really wish you all the very best and sincerely hope you get this. Sure deserve it!
Incredible group of players wheather fighting with them, finding them in space as transport or fighting against them as a sair. Always more than a /1 /2 /3 when you do come across them in space.
After the main Gallic man left Discovery you are the ones keeping Gallic PvP somewhat alive with your raids, you don't care about dying, and if I am being honest - your positive attitude after getting piled to shit when you patiently wait for people to show up makes us petty whiners look really bad by comparison. Also I know how hard it is to make and run events, it feels like a second job and you have been pumping them out at an amazing frequency.
I wish I will one day be able to both be as invested as this faction's leaders are in terms of effort put in the game and then not spazz out when it doesn't go as planned on the other end - I said it a couple times before already, but this is what an Official faction that elevates the server should look like.
Actually, they do care about dying, unfortunately. Otherwise I don't know what made two capital ships spread out at the speed of light, and combat dock when they saw just two bombers. Nothing else than non-flying weather, mhm. I guess (power-)farming is bad for people's minds, eh.
In other way, fighting Gallia is good for both, I guess. Keep it up, ofc.
Can't talk about power farming, and I guess when they do missions it's not the same, but the thing plaguing discovery house Cap fights is especially official factions mostly predominantly reactionary mass logging to crush opposition, sitting in grids or docked and then steam rolling people that dared to log in their area with few or no losses and then logging off.
And then people like me who admittedly expect some courtesy, willingness to give blues when the first loggers offer them many and will run, dock and log off or just not log combat ships period when the above hide into over log happens constantly, making cap pvp non existent and far in between as both sides keep shooting themselves in the foot with their attitudes.
What this faction has consistently done is actually be willing to straight up jump to a house or area, wait around knowing they will die just to give locals action - they single handedly kept cap pvp going like this in Liberty and Gallia over the months.
Same with events - I kept expecting them to sooner or later get bitter/tired of the work and slow down the activity like most have done, it hasn't happened, they are straight up the best faction for cap pvp activity and have a much better attitude than most, including myself.
After reviewing your activity and contributions over the past few months, we have decided to offer HS> Malta Hyperspace Starfleet, Officialdom. Please post an ID & sub-forum request, and we'll get them up and running.
Congratulations.
